I went to this place two times recently. I had a bunch of old costume jewellery and old gold to sell. The owner was fantastic (sorry I forget your name) and his daughter, who works there as well, had stunning nails LOL. I complimented them!!! I learned a lot from him and about testing for real gold vs fake gold. I brought him in an old watch from my grandfather just to learn more information about it. He was aware it was not for sale but took the time to investigate it with me. I also showed him an 1891 American coin (we will leave the description at that), that was handed down to me, to look at but it was not for sale! Sir, after you shared the value with me and I spoke to my sister about it... I have since removed the coin from my wallet and placed it in a special item of my moms as she is who passed it on to me. Her grandfather gave it to her. I never felt rushed or pressured while dealing with the owner even when I offered to share an item with him to look at but that it was not for sale. The owner was happy to get what he got from me and I was happy to get rid of it all and make some extra cash to go towards another trip to see the orcas in the wild this summer! Win Win for both :) Thank you for making these transactions easy and educational!
Visited back in the summer with friends and could never forget this little gem in Winnipeg! I found the most beautiful vintage gold watch and for such a fair price. If you’re ever in the area it’s a must to visit, even just to look around since the shop itself is so interesting.
Visited the shop looking for “something old” as well as a sixpence for my wedding traditions and it did not disappoint. Dan was fantastic! Very friendly and welcoming. He showed us multiple trays, and was very patient. They have an amazing array of estate jewelry as well as other antiques and artwork. Highly recommend.
What an awesome store!! Both the father and son were welcoming and friendly! Everything is beautifully arranged, clean and well maintained! I only bought a small globe, but the price was right and I was able to do my project!
This place is amazing! One of the best antique stores I’ve ever been to. Their selection of antique jewelry is incredible and the customer service is so great. They also have a lot of beautiful furniture, Sterling silver and glassware. We left with so many things. 100/10.
