I cannot express enough how incredible my experience was working with Jane for all of my wedding alterations. I trusted her with my Anne Barge bridal gown (a custom Heart + Soul style made from heavy Mikado silk, with an extended train, and multiple layers) and she exceeded every single expectation. From start to finish, she treated my gown like a true work of art. She flawlessly hemmed the dress, adjusted the neckline to eliminate any gaping, and inserted perfectly structured push-up cups so I didn’t have to wear a bra. She also created the most beautiful and functional French bustle I’ve ever seen. It was so well designed that my bridesmaids were able to do it the day of the wedding after watching the videos we took at a fitting. I received countless compliments because my dress looked like an entirely different, stunning gown once it was bustled! I also had an Anne Barge Sully lace topper with detailed sleeves, and she tailored it with absolute perfection — making the sleeves more fitted, adding custom button attachments to secure it to my gown, and creating a seamless, high-end “built-in” illusion bodysuit effect. On top of all that, she altered two additional dresses for me: • My reception dress (hemmed + a custom side slit for easier movement) • My rehearsal dinner dress (hemmed + shortened the detailed sleeves while preserving all the tiny buttons) Her craftsmanship, patience, precision, and artistic eye were unmatched. She allowed multiple fittings, even welcomed me when I wanted to see the gown with my hair/makeup trial and veil, and always communicated clearly and kindly. She steamed everything, handled my dresses with so much care, and her studio was great and professional every single visit. I would trust her with any couture garment. She is a true expert, perfectionist, and someone who clearly loves her craft. If you’re a bride, especially with a designer or highly detailed gown, look no further, you will be in the best hands. Jane did an incredible job with my bridal gown! Her attention to detail and keen workmanship made me feel truly confident and beautiful on my wedding day. There were many unique details I wanted done to my dress and did a fabulous job carrying it out! I had wanted length taken off the bottom, pleating added to my sleeves, waist line taken up, and bustle added — she did a very well done job following through with all requests! Jane was also very receptive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. I would text her my inspirations and she would show me how it would look like during fittings prior to committing to a set style. Really amazing workmanship and would recommend for all bridal and dress needs!
Jane was so great to work with! She did a wonderful job with my wedding dress. I came in with a dress that was too big and too long, but it fit perfectly after working with Jane. I had a long train, and the bustle she designed looked seamless! She also made scrunchies from some excess fabric, and they were exactly what I was wanting. I would recommend Jane to anyone because she is very sweet and professional. Excellent work, communication and price!
Mrs. Jane is amazing, I will never go to anyone else and have been recommending her to all my friends. She is the sweetest lady and I wish that I hadn’t been so nervous so I could show her more gratitude. The dress I needed alterations for was already beautiful but she elevated its beauty to an ethereal level. She is efficient as well and has great communication and personality. She showed a lot of grace for me and my family and did her best to accommodate her guests. I came to her 3 weeks out from my wedding and she really worked hard to have it done a week prior to my big day. She is truly amazing and if I have a daughter she’s the only person I’ll trust with her wedding dress. Her work is very good quality and she has great vision.
