Our recent event at Southport Sharks was a great success. The space was well-presented, the staff were professional and accommodating, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thanks to Paige & Mark for their amazing support throughout the planning and on the night — they went above and beyond to make sure everything came together perfectly.
We had our wedding at here at Southport Sharks, and from the bottom of our hearts, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Everything came together so seamlessly, and it’s clear how much love and care the team pours into every single detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely supported and at ease. The venue was absolutely breathtaking, the service was exceptional, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff made the day flow effortlessly. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was and how well-organized the entire celebration felt — from the ceremony to the food — and we couldn’t agree more. Shannon, Simon and the entire team helped create memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our special day with you — truly made our dream come true!
This was our third year holding our At The Ark Light Up The Night Gala at the Southport Sharks Event Centre, and once again, we were absolutely thrilled with every part of the process. From our very first meeting, Paige was wonderful—professional, accommodating, and a joy to work with. On the night, the venue staff, led by Simon and Mark, were exemplary. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was met with efficiency and a smile. We couldn’t recommend Southport Sharks Event Centre more highly. It’s the perfect venue for our major fundraiser of the year, and we’ve already booked for next year! We look forward to working alongside this amazing team for many years to come.
Sharks Events Centre has been central to many events this year. The biggest event so far was our Rotary D9640 Conference from 28-30 March 2025. The venue provides so much flexibility to create different areas/zones. Paige Sundell our events coordinator has been amazing to work with. With multiple events across the days, she made it all seem so easy. The team working with us each day, in particular Simon, Mark, EJ, Ella and Dillon, were outstanding. We have had lots of feedback from attendees about the 'great venue'. 100% recommend this venue and the team.
The team at Sharks Events Centre were very professional and easy to work with. The event centre itself was a great venue for us and suited out needs perfectly. The easy access and parking definitely appreciated. The catering and service was excellent and the AV team a delight to work with. All in all a great experience and recommended.
