Le Shearer Hills Early Learning Center, à San Antonio, propose un programme préscolaire et une garde d’enfants centrés sur le Christ. My older daughter attended the ELC from 8 months old until kindergarten. My younger daughter also started at about a year and is still going strong. The ELC is the best experience we could have ever asked for them. The staff here are truly phenomenal, they care about our children deeply and form relationships with them over the years. They do a surprising amount of academics at such an early age and the director is extremely knowledgeable about child development and what these kiddos really need. They transform the ELC every season with hours of work to make it a joyful beautiful place to be for these kids with decorations. There are two outside areas and the kids spend a ton of time outside. But the most valuable thing to me is the early Bible teaching and scripture memory they instill in the kiddos. The other day I went to drop my daughter off and both her and another little boy being dropped off were RUNNING in to school (at 7:30 am mind you) with the biggest grins on their faces. The kids love it here and I am so thankful for this oasis for our daughters.
If your family is looking for an amazing program for your littles, Shearer Hills ELC is the one. Both my boys have attended this school since they were a year old and all the way up to pre-k age. Every classroom they’ve been in and has teachers who are kind, patient, and loving. Administration and front staff are helpful and always so warm. My kids literally smile ear to ear every time they walk in. There is nothing more reassuring to a mother‘s heart thank knowing your babies are in good hands while you are away. Shearer Hill ELC has provided that and I couldn’t be more grateful! 💗
This has been a wonderful place for our child. Their teachers are amazing and our child comes out everyday joyful. The staff is very helpful and they do wonderful little activities and events. Highly recommended!!
My daughter has been going here since she was 4 months old! She is 2 now. We love it here, and especially love that there are security cameras in every classroom, making it a very safe and high-accountability environment. We also love the Christ-centered environment, the caring teachers, and how much my daughter has learned from her teachers over the years (ABC’s, counting, vocabulary, numerous songs, etc etc). Highly recommend!❤️
We have been incredibly blessed by our experience at Shearer Hills ELC over the past two years with our children, currently in Pre-K3 and Kindergarten. As parents, we wanted a nurturing environment that would foster spiritual growth alongside academic development. Both of our children have learned so much, not only in terms of foundational academic skills but also in building character and understanding God's love. The school fosters a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel safe to explore, learn, and develop. We truly feel like part of a family, and it’s comforting to know our children are being loved, encouraged, and guided in a way that aligns with our values.
