Probably my favorite local winery. The wine itself is great, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Good location too, being situated in Old Town, there's plenty to do. I always tell people about this place!
I am a wine club member. I have been a member for many years. The downtown tasting room is beautiful and comfortable. In addition to the great wine selection, the staff are always knowledgeable and friendly. If you are in Old Town Albuquerque you should stop by. While you are at it become a member and enjoy many benefits including free wine tastings and a members only area upstairs. I love their wines and look forward to spending time both downtown and in their backyard tastings.
We stopped by in old town to check out some of the wine tasting rooms. We ended at Sheehan Winery. My wife is trying a 2022 Danza del Fuego and I am trying a flight of everything. Rose`, White port, red port, and some big reds. The wines were all good. There is a lot going on in the courtyard and we ordered burgers for lunch. A tour bus came in when we first got here but it did not make any problems for us. They just dispersed. We are getting burgers from another group in the courtyard for lunch. Sure smell good. Now live music started and the DJ retired. The music is really good and the band had some talent. Not your normal band. They are very good with acoustic music and voice. Quite enjoyable 😁
Recently visited this location for the first time, as a first-time wine drinker. The staff was amazing, friendly and funny. Wine tasting was a great experience and everything was delicious. About to join their membership!
This is a wonderful tasting room, just off the Old Town Plaza. Five tastings for $10 or no charge with two bottle of wine purchase. Ask about the wine club 🍷 it’s a great deal. The wines are high quality and you’re supporting a local business. We highly recommend Sheehan Winery Tasting Room! Indoor and outdoor seating. Trish was our server and she was delightful. Ann and Autumn are great too! Pets welcome too. 🐾
