Our hot water tank sprung a leak and we called Shortys Thursday afternoon. An estimator came out within the hour and the next day at 1 pm 2 servicemen were already at our house installing a new hot water tank! James and Jason did a great job and less than 2 hours the installation was completed. We are very happy with their courteous efficient work and highly recommend Shortys for all your plumbing and heating needs. They also installed a new furnace several years ago- and Tyler regularly comes twice a year to clean and maintain our furnace and air conditioning needs! Shortys is the best! 10 stars!!!
Fantastic service, fixed old boiler when I had no heat. Came out same day. Tested for gas leak and fixed gas leak. Thorough, professional and knowledgable, highly skilled, resonable price and garauntee their labour and parts for 30 days! I highly recommend Shorty's Plumbing Heating and will be using them in the future for all my plumbing and heating needs.
On May 16/25 we utilized the services of Shorty's to inspect & service our furnace & make recommendations for servicing our humidifier for our Fort Garry home. For the past ten years I have used the services of other companies. However, when I learned of a neighborhood friends experience I was very impressed with the quality of the work & the detailed written inspection that their technician "Roberto" did for our friend. I then called Shorty's....and I am glad that I did. Roberto also provided the same exceptional service for us. He took the time to explain the work that he completed and he offered constructive advice on heating & cooling our Fort Garry home. Moreover, I was delighted to receive a follow up call from Deborah who was seeking our opinion on the the quality of our customer service with Shorty's. Hot water tank quit on one of the coldest day of the winter - Friday after dinner. Called the after hours number and was connected to Dane - the technician on call. He indicated that due to the bitter cold he was committed to all previous customers esp. those with frozen pipes and furnace issues. He asked if I would mind calling back Saturday morning. I called Sat. AM and the on-call technician (Wyatt) answered immediately. He was very accommodating of the situation, explained an accurate invoice estimate and arrived on time. He was respectful to our home (drop clothes) and diligently worked at removal of old tank/installation of new. Thanks again to Shorty’s for continuing to offer great service. Extra thanks to both Dane & Wyatt. Will definitely call again for any of our plumbing/heating needs.
I am as satisfied as a person can be! The tradesperson, Dane, who answered. my service call, isolated the issue immediately, and promptly repaired our leaking shower. He installed a kitchen faucet, troubleshooting and addressing seized bolts and nut, in an area with zero accessibility under the sink. Very grateful to Dane , for expedient, calm, perseverance as the task was more complex, and you worked patiently until the work was done. Everything was left in pristine condition. Pricing was exactly as quoted., Very reasonable. 10/10 Thank you very much to Shorty’s and Dane
