This little independent restaurant is one of a kind down the bay. Great service and plenty of tasty vegan options. Pros: Good vegan menu, Tasty dishes, Independent Cons: More expensive than I'd like.
We had a pizza which wasn’t the best Italian pizza we had. Quite thick base and wild mushroom pizza had a sand as mushrooms were not washed properly. I was regretting not having a pasta. Overall very disappointed considering good reviews. Nice views on the harbour.
We went at a busy lunch time, the 2 courses for £20 is a bargain. I had the Bruschetta and a pizza. Bruschetta was full of taste, and the portion size generous. The girlfriend had the chicken skewers, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and whatever herbs they used on it gave it a lovely taste. My pizza was cooked perfectly, and was as tasty as it looked. The girlfriend was very happy with her seafood pasta, I could see the amount of mussels they put in it was generous. If you fancy Italian food by the bay, I recommend this place.
Decided to come here for a bite before driving back home. Had a calamari to start with, well presented. A medium rare stake to follow and a tiramisu to finish. The calamari was good and tasty, just a bit on the thinner side. The stake was cooked medium rare as requested, seasoned just right and the sauce that it came with made it even better. The tiramisu was just great, just how a tiramisu should be. Great service from the staff as well. Having dinner with a good view and some live music from around makes it a really nice place to be at. Finishing off with a shot of limoncello is a nice touch! Definitely will be back when I visit Cardiff again!!!
It was my first time at this restaurant, and I was genuinely impressed! The food was absolutely delicious full of flavour and served piping hot. The atmosphere was also lovely: quiet, clean, and complemented by a Beautiful view. The only downside was that the staff seemed a bit tired and disengaged – no smiles or warmth, which made it feel like they weren’t enjoying their work. That said, if you’re going for the food, it’s definitely worth it. The dishes are authentic and packed with flavor!
