I started singing lessons with Kerry about a month ago. I am a complete beginner, and it's been a great decision! As this was the first time I've explored my voice, I was feeling quite nervous at the beginning. No one had heard me sing before, but Kerry is patient, friendly, and enthusiastic. His personality made me feel comfortable and confident, so I no longer felt embarrassed. As with everything in life, singing lessons require practice at home. I have a series of exercises that I can use, and we've been building each class. I'm finding a new way to understand music, and I love that. Thank you, Kerry! Claudia
As someone who has NEVER touched a piano I love my lessons with Kerry. He is very patient and goes at any pace you like to make sure you are comfortable. Really good at explaining and breaks down everything so I can understand. highly recommend to anyone trying to learn a new hobby
After recently joining a choir I realised that I had no idea how to sing, pitch, read music or even breathe properly! Turns out these things are quite important...which is why I contacted Kerry for some lessons. I was nervous to start my first lesson, having not really sung properly in front of anyone on my own before, but there was no need. Kerry really put me at ease and by the end of the lesson that initial embarrassment had gone. Kerry found out what I wanted to get from the singing lessons and has tailored them accordingly. He also has infinite patience with my long list of questions. The lessons are fun and I really enjoy going, as well as learning theory and practical skills to improve my singing. Kerry is a great teacher and very encouraging. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for singing lessons.
Kerry was extremely helpful for me and very fast working. Only having two weeks notice for an audition he managed to fit me in for multiple lessons. Help me become more comfortable with my voice and practice with a piano. And also helping me with many other things like helping me find my pitch for specific songs and finding the correct transposition of the song to fit my voice. Helping me with taping music and because of his experience, he had excellent audition advice which was really helpful. Overall amazing!!
Choosing Kerry as my piano teacher was a great decision as I worked to pick up piano again after more than 10 years. I had restarted on my own two years ago but struggled to make real progress. Kerry’s professional guidance not only helped me improve but also changed the way I see piano performance. I really enjoy the pieces he gives me to work on, and I appreciate that he also lets me choose my own pieces and works on them with me. He is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, making lessons both enjoyable and productive. I’m really glad to be learning with him and highly recommend him to anyone looking to develop their piano skills!
