They took my case in 2018. Clear-cut at fault case. It took them seven years to get a trial date where a settlement was negotiated. In 2018, after my injury, I took out a predatory loan, from a lender they recommended, and ended up paying more in interest than the lawyers and I got. If they wouldn't have let my case sink to the bottom of the "to-do" list, I'd have been in better shape financially. Poor communication, hard to reach or get information on what exactly was delaying them. Numerous motions could've been filed to get the Defendant in front of a judge and get my case closed, but weren't. Friendly staff, professional presentation. I just wish I didn't have to pay out-of-pocket for their years of delays. In response to the owner who said they don't remember any case they've handled: Jonathan took the case, Mr. Murray settled the case in Greensburg, PA in March 2025, and Mary was the contact person. Jonathan recommended the lender when I asked where I could get a short-term litigation loan, which turned out to be an eight year loan. The case was against Bob Evans. Does that ring a bell?
I was in a bad car accident that almost cost me my life. Jon Stewart and team fought diligently to get me compensation for my case. Also Tracy helped make all the paper work and the process very smooth. I will be using SMT legal for any case. Thank you Jon and team.
