I brought my 5-year-old daughter in for a haircut today. This isn’t my first time using this company, but it was my first time visiting this particular location. My daughter has curly hair, and as always, I made sure it was straightened beforehand so it would be easier to cut. I specifically asked Amy if she knew how to cut curly hair, and she confidently said yes. However, she proceeded to wet my daughter’s hair and began cutting it while visibly nervous. I watched as she continued, and with every snip it became more uneven. By the time she was done, my baby’s hair was completely crooked and mismatched in length. I am genuinely in tears writing this. How do you do this to a 5-year-old? If you don’t know how to handle curly hair, all you have to do is say so. We would have happily left without an issue. Instead, my daughter’s haircut is now completely uneven, and I’m heartbroken and disappointed.
Berta is cutting my kids hair since they were 3 years old (7years now) and she’s amazing, very detailed, pleasant and patient. On top of that, she’s been cutting my husband’s hair as well for a higher price, which I totally understand. But, In the past few months the prices went up significantly, the hair dressers are limited to 15 minutes per person and being under a lot of pressure. Such a shame, they work so hard on each child/person, hopefully they will be treated better.
Nikki is the best! She always works quickly and does a great job. Most importantly, she’s so kind and patient with my son—even on the days he doesn’t feel like getting a haircut. We’re so grateful for her!
Worst haircut my poor boy has ever received. First two pictures are what I showed the hair stylist, Nikki. I asked her if she could do it and she said she could. She was pretty forceful holding his head and moving it around during the haircut which I was alarmed by because I’ve taken him to Snip Its before and the other hair stylists weren’t like that. She also didn’t speak to him or I the entire cut which I guessed she needed to concentrate? It was strange. I had to ask her to fix his hair because it looked like a bowl cut at first. No idea what she was doing. Last three pictures are what we had to leave with after she attempted to fix it for 15 more minutes. I told her we were ready to go because I couldn’t have my kid looking like Caillou. The haircut she provided wasn’t close to what I asked her to do and what she did looked awful. We went to a barber afterwards and had it fixed. My son did awesome and the barber didn’t have to forcefully hold his head. Thank god. Never going to Snip its again obviously. I should’ve read the reviews beforehand because I am not the first person to complain about Nikki’s inability to cut hair.
This was his second hair cut and this was the outcome . We specified to Nikki it was only a trim. I do not recommend her as a stylist for a 13 month old . I was so focused that she didn’t cut his ears and hands i missed how much she had cutoff the top. Take your time! I will never take my child to this location again and I do not recommend Nikki as a stylist .
