1st of all it's got quite the histroy. And although it's location has been through one hell of a lot of outsiders bullshit. The city has doubled up the efforts and have redeveloped the whole area. And it will soon be pretty nice. It's still safe as houses, because messes with Soundwave ever. And the studio offers small aspects of recording and rehearsals, with great prices and friendly staff. It's worth the effort 2 this Legendary time piece...
Great place to do anything with music from rehearsal to video production and everything between. Great staff especially Joe at the front desk he was very helpful to my needs and he made my check in and out speedy and hassle free. Thanks Joe your awesome!!
Al & the crew here are the nicest folks around! At the onset of the pandemic, I was able to rent the huge warehouse out back (the backlot) for ten days straight to record drums for my album! The recording has a quality to it that I will never forget snd is imprinted on the record forever. Not to mention, each room they offer comes with sound reinforcement & amplification, & you can rent them by the hour. I’ve rented from Al since his days over at what is now called the OMC- he is truly part of the musical tapestry of Oakland. Music in this city is what it is because of the kindness, dedication, and work Al and his crew have put in. I hope to rent from him again soon, and I hope this place never goes away. Thank you Soundwave!
