I went on the Lamington National Park, O'Reilly's & Vineyard Tour by Southern Cross Tours and had a wonderful day. The guide, Bill, was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. He gave fantastic and insightful commentary along the way and made our group feel comfortable. I loved the time we had to explore the national park, experience native bird feeding and enjoy lunch at a local winery. I never felt rushed and could ask questions to get the most out of the day. I would highly recommend this tour to those looking for an escape from the bustle of the Gold Coast and to experience the natural environment of the area. Thanks Bill and Southern Cross Tours!
Had a great day today touring Mt Tamborine with our tour guide Matt. It’s a very relaxing, low pace tour. Small group of 8 people, air conditioned van. Easy walk through the rainforest and the nature park. Had fantastic views from the top of the mountain. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed spotting some amazing Australian wildlife including kangaroos, a koala, lizards and even a tree snake in Coombabah Nature Reserve. Nice morning tea at a historic manor was very pleasant. Overall, well organised and interesting tour. I would highly recommend it.
We booked a private tour because we wanted to combine seeing some of Springbrook with seeing glowworms at Tamborine at night. Gary kindly helped put together this custom tour. Our guide, Amber, was friendly and knowledgeable and it was definitely worth it to do a private tour so we could go at our own pace. The tour was awesome - we started at natural bridge and then did the Twin Falls track at Springbrook because that was top on my list and if you like to hike that is a great choice. We got to see multiple waterfalls and even stand under them. It was foggy and drizzling but quite nice in the rainforest. We had some extra time, so we got to stop at Purling Brook falls as well, and the views were nice even with the cloudy weather. After a stop for dinner, we went to see glowworms at Curtis falls and they were so bright! Amber told us about a lot of creepy crawly bugs along the way. My one tip would be to wear long pants especially if it’s wet because my family wore shorts and got leeches on their legs😬 We loved Amber’s Australian music playlist too! Thank you Southern Cross!
Amazing experience with Southern Cross Tours. The Lamington National Park and O’Reilly’s tour was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very well organised from start to finish, great communication and perfectly on time. The guide Amber was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, which made the whole day even better. The places we visited are stunning, breathtaking nature and incredible views. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience and I felt well taken care of the entire time. I would definitely do another tour with them and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the region without any stress. Totally worth it 💚
Excellent day tour with driver and guide Mark. We were picked up from the hotel and headed to the Tambourine mountain with a small group of 10. We did rainforest walk, saw some nice viewing spots, had morning tea with scones, went shopping and koala + kenguru spotting. We saw a huge groups of kengurus and spotted 8 koalas on the trees. Mark was excellent tour guide with a lot of local knowledge. Can recommend this trip, worth the money. 👌🏻
