Absolutely love Southport Nails & Beauty took my partner here! Amy is amazing the salon is spotless and you can really tell how much care goes into cleanliness and hygiene. The prices are very affordable, especially for the level of service you receive. Her attention to detail is truly top-notch; she takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. Beautiful Result. Amazing service with very good pricing, I got extensions with a design for $70 and they are exactly what I wanted. Totally recommend this place, it was fantastic and she did my Friends nails amazing as-well. Definitely coming back.
I’ve been going to Amy for years and she’s completely transformed my nails! They used to be a mess, but now my nail beds are longer, healthier, and my nails look amazing every time. Her work lasts forever too – even with my busy schedule I sometimes don’t get back for 5+ weeks (sorry Amy!) and they’re still perfect, just grown out. I always leave feeling more put together, and her prices for the quality are incredible. So lucky to have found her!
This is my third appointment with Amy, and I couldn’t be more impressed. She’s incredibly talented and has nailed every design I’ve asked for, there’s truly nothing she can’t do. Her work is high quality, very reasonably priced compared to other salons, and she’s professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her!
Honestly the worst acrylic nails I have ever gotten. I won’t even bother with the attitude from the lady doing my nails (amy I assume from other reviews), the service was rushed, done SO poorly and I left with nothing I intended of getting. I was booked in for acrylics with full nail art (I’ve also attached a photo of intended nail design) and a pedicure with gel, I left with this. I barely had a chance to respond about the length of my nails before she was already cutting them, after she had shaped a single nail I vocalised that they were way too short and her response was “well that’s why you needed to be more careful when telling me how short”…I didn’t get a chance before she was already cutting them. AFTER this she then said “do you still want the fish”…I said “of-course”, she responds “well your nails are too short for the fish”??…so I was barely given a chance to choose the length and then told the nail was too short for the fish, something I think was done purposefully so she didn’t have to do the nail designs. Putting all that aside, the condition of these acrylics is disgusting. They are not painted to the tip, there is excess glue all over the inside of the nails, they are INCREDIBLY thick and uneven, there is raised sections in the nails that appear to have something underneath them. My nails had zero prep just a file with the grinder. I am horrified especially from a business that comes so highly recommended and highly reviewed. I have attached plenty of photos so there is no misunderstanding that these nails are horrible. I want the business to rectify this somehow. The minute I got into my car, tears. I would never ever return to this salon.
