I had an RMT massage with Hannah and she was amazing. My mom had a massage with Natalie and said it was the best massage she’s ever had. The spa’s amenities are great overall but I don’t find the mandatory 18% gratuity ethical, tipping should be up to the guest to decide based on their experience.
The general atmosphere and ambience is very lovely. The have a steam room and a lounge so you can take your time prior to the massage and afterwards. Overall the service is quite good. I found all of the staff very helpful. The reason why I am giving the spa only 3/5 stars is due to the massages. It entirely depends on who you get, and the quality is not consistent. Some RMTs are really not qualified, imo, to be working at such a prestigious spa, especially given the price that is being paid. There is also a mandatory gratuity fee of 18% regardless if you enjoyed the service or not. Again, I find this is a highly unethical practice, and should be left to the discretion of the customer of whether or not a tip is provided.
I had a super amazing massage by Natlie she is absolutely incredible. The session was for 90 mins and she made my body completely relaxed and was able to treat me head to toe. Super respectful and professional. She adjusted her pressure to my firm liking. An absolute all star. 13/10 performance.
I had such an amazing time getting a massage at this spa. From the moment I arrived, great effort was put into making sure I got the exact experience I wanted. Everything that could be adjusted was adjusted exactly to my preference - from music and room temp to oils used and which areas I wanted treatment on (I know every RMT asks you where you want treatment, but this was so specific like a checklist to make sure time was spent on every area requested). I was lucky to be treated by Hannah, who was super calm and attentive, friendly but not too chatty to the point you can't relax. She made me feel like an absolute queen, and checked in every so often to make sure everything was to my liking. Usually I feel awkward asking for more pressure here, or a bit longer time spent there, but she made me feel completely comfortable so I really did get exactly what I'd hoped for. She also did so many little extras I've never experienced before like warm towels on my feet and adjusting the recline of the bed when I was on my back. She literally thought of everything to make me feel relaxed and pampered! After the massage I was taken to a relaxation area where I had tea and sat overlooking the city. It was the perfect ending to a perfect experience. I've been to day spas before but never one like this. This was the ultimate in luxury and an experience I'll not soon forget.
Such a lovely spa experience! Yuki did an amazing job; I had a full body exfoliation and facial and I felt like I'd died and gone to heaven. My mum says Annabelle gave her the best massage of her life. The hazelnut cocoa balls were delicious and the steam room was sooo calming. I went with my mum for a birthday spa day and we mostly had the place to ourself (weekday). The tea selection was so nice and the lounging spots were comfortable. I felt pampered and the spa package created an all around a wonderful day! Only improvement would be a slightly hotter hot tub (outside the water therapy pool was only warm).
