My 2 and 5 year old have come here at least once a year (pics are from March) for the past few years and they have improved on the layout and changed around some of the water structures which works better. My kids love coming here, although sometimes they think the water is cold even when it's 80° inside which I think is a nice temperature for year round. There are lots of chairs, an upstairs party venue, plenty of changing rooms, a shower to rinse off, a concession stand with pizza and snacks (could be a better selection of food), and lifeguards on duty. They even sell some cute towels and other items at the entrance check-in desk. Plan on getting wet if you have a little kid you're following around because there's no escaping the water. We will definitely continue to come back!
I wish I knew about this place when my daughter was smaller. She’s almost 10 now but she loves this place. It’s perfect for small kids to go around on their own. This place is like a huge splash pad with water slides. The normal water parks are just too overwhelming for my kid.
Late post! We stopped here during spring break, and it was super cool. It was a lot smaller than traditional water parks but it was a great experience. This place is tailored to smaller kids, so be aware of that. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everyone has to wear a wristband and make sure that you notify an employee if you need to exit for an item in your vehicle. It is an exit, no return policy. It can get packed at times, so finding a row of chairs for a family of 4 could be difficult. They do have a side area that has additional seating, but the view is obscured by the water slides. Also, they have a small upstairs seating area that they opened up after we were there, so you can try that. The snack bar was cool because you could place an order for pizza 🍕 every hour. They notify you of the last call to place an order and bring it to you. The snacks were reasonably priced and didn't break the bank. The splash shack is a perfect little spot to have some water action with your little ones and has a lot to offer. The only negative was the bathrooms. They could use an 'occupied' red/green sign or something similar. It was difficult to see which room had someone in there or had to check all the doors to see if they were locked/open. Overall, this place was awesome, and we hope to come back again!
Super fun place my 4 and 6 year old absolutely had a blast. It was warm inside and the water was warm. All the restrooms are made for families and have privacy and they are clean. We went on a Saturday and it wasn’t packed. The kids never waited to go down a slide and the life guards are wonderful and polite. Keep it up we will definitely be coming back. Also it was a perfect size and you could sit down and see your kids from anywhere. It’s super safe and you won’t have to worry about disappearing kids
My kids (ages 6&4) had an awesome time at Splash Shack today! It's a hidden gem that you can't see from the main road. The building it tucked behind some other buildings, with no signage to be seen from the main street. It feels like a small enough area to let my kids roam together freely without me, but still big enough for them to explore and enjoy for hours! The splash zone feels safe and mostly clean. I did see hair on the ground, which is to be expected, and gum. There are lifeguards standing at all the big slides which is great. The kids didn't need their life vests because there isn't a "deep" area. You can't bring in any outside food (although people around us did), but they do offer a good variety of snacks, drinks and pizza that they order fresh from Dominos. My kids and husband and were freezing after being in the water and then sitting under the large fan. Overall we had a nice time, and it's amazing that adults get in free with the purchase of a kids ticket!
