I was with my wife and we stumbled across this shop. A most wonderful and delightful Cavern of supplies. If you are a knitter , the ultimate adventure in Wonderland. She can't wait to come back into Town and do it all again.
If there was a store at the end of the universe, this would be it. It has the most unusual and wonderful items.
Søstrene Grene, has an aesthetic that will not appeal to everybody, but for those it does they will return again and again, and I think I am one of those people! The colours and textures of products sold matches the calm atmosphere of the store with its meandering pathway through the shelves stocking everything from home ware to creative art supplies. Since finding the store we make a point of always visiting when in the city and rarely leave without buying something.....straw hat, coffee, notebook, trinket box....
This place is bit like ikea for gifts and decorations. You enter through one door and move through the store towards the exit. They generally section out the store. So currently there is a heavy Christmas Theme but they also have house hold items, mirrors etc. service was quick and friendly staff on the tills. They do supply some bottled drinks at the exit. Wheelchair access but I’d warn it does get a bit tight on the trail.
