This is the 2nd time in 20+ years I’ve used Steve’s Heating and Cooling. Dylan (Technician) did the service work. My A/C went out in August and Dylan tried a fix before recommending a replacement. When that didn’t work, Dylan explained the difference in the units they carried & the price points. By working with me, Dylan helped me find the best system for my needs. Installation was scheduled for about a week out due to delivery time. Dylan was prompt (earlier) than expected and completed the job early. I’m very pleased with the service, product, and professionalism I received from Dylan and his teammate that did my work. I highly recommend this local business! They also do system checkups and seasonal maintenance.
Long story short ... I spent a month researching (Elon Musk's AI GROK is unbelievably helpful) and finally drilled down from three companies toTRANE and then their sister company American Standard. i talked to 6 different HVAC companies. I was told I didn't need to have new lines, although that's what I wanted because of too many (yearly Freon leaks.) They have a new freon again and the new freon requires new lines. Some HVACs were going to upcharge me for not reusing my lines. I went with Steve's Heating and Air in Riverside. Thanks to GROK, I was educated by the search. I HAD A BUDGET AND STEVE'S CAME IN $2,000 UNDER MY BUDGET SO I asked how much the next level up would be. They installed today. I am so happy that I kept looking. They've been in business since 1979 and are family owned. I was not interested in any that had sold their business to private equity companies. ONe LAST THING ... THIS IS THE LAST YEAR TO GET INCOME TAX CREDITS FOR NEW HVACS. CHECK OUT STEVE'S HEATING AND AIR in the Kansas City area (Riverside).
We called Steve’s Heating and Cooling when we could not convert our air conditioning to heat. We originally called the company who installed the unit and because we weren’t on their maintenance plan their visit could not be guaranteed until November. Steve’s service technician was out within the hour. What was originally diagnosed as needing a new motor, we had just put the system in 3 years ago, Josh discovered a nest of birds…several, to be honest! Josh patiently assisted my husband by blowing the nest and birds out, without the required equipment going through the ceiling and saving us a ton of money and time! So impressed with the office and service staff that they have found very loyal customers for the future! Will get a maintenance program AND a vent from preventive maintenance!
My Mom's air conditioner went out and I was in a rush to get it replaced before she got back in town. I did a lot of research on Google and found Steve's Heating and Cooling. What caught my attention was their excellent ratings, and I also saw that they had been featured on Channel 4 News. I decided to give them a call and was impressed with their professionalism right away. I got about five different bids, and Steve's Heating and Cooling had the lowest price. Despite the great price, the service was outstanding. The installation technician, Dylan, did a phenomenal job. He was professional, worked quickly and efficiently, and the new unit is working perfectly. Thanks to Steve's Heating and Cooling and Dylan, my mom will come home to a cool and comfortable house. I'm so glad I chose them, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.
Steve's Heating and Cooling is a very reliable company. They sent Dillan, Josh and Alex today to install a high efficiency heat pump in my cellar to replace a 30 year old furnace that was failing. Not only they were ahead of schedule, but they worked extremely hard to install my new heat pump. They were very focused, and worked non-stop all day. They were knowledgeable polite and friendly. They answered all my questions ( I had many) The system is up and running well. They are awesome and I highly recommend this company.
