Went to customer service for help to locate plants I found on their website. I was told to wait at the tree/shrub sign. Unfortunately I had to return to customer service counter at the front because they “couldn’t locate me”, as the only one located by the sign.
The staff listened to what we wanted, asked questions about the sun/shade sitch of the planting location, and asked about our planting knowledge. They made an excellent recommendation, told us what to look for on their signs and showed us the exact locations of shrubs. It’s was a very pleasant purchasing experience that we went into nervous and unsure. Not mention they had popcorn, face painting, balloon animals, and hay rides on the cutest little red fire engine!
In the past week I have purchased six trees from Suburban Lawn & Tree from both the Leawood location and the Martin City location. I was very pleased with the customer service from the people who helped me picked out the trees (Gloria and Brad, and others) the tree planting coordinator, Suzanne, and the man who did the planting, Joel. They all did a great job. And Joel was prompt, professional, and did a fine job cleaning up after the planting. I was so happy with the whole experience. The selection of trees was wonderful and even in August, the trees look healthy. So much fun to ride around the Martin City location in a golf cart Chauffeured by the super sales people at Suburban looking at trees. The trees are beautiful and I look forward to watching them grow into lovely shade trees.
It was great! So many plants to choose from. Most of the plants looked great. Only one or two had some bugs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had little buggies we could drive around to help get through the large outside area. I could easily spend all day there!
It was absolutely amazing. So many plants, so many varieties of each and every plant! They have garden decorations and bird bath. They even have things that will deter birds, which is great for every gardener. They have garden flags! Each sign in the plant area describes the plant, vegetables, fruits, trees, and flowers. It will give you care directions and height estimates! The space is large and every part of this store is worth it. I could spend all day there. I found succulents and bought a few. I found plants that help pollinators come toward your garden, like the bee balms. I bought a pretty amazing rose bush. I found and bought so many blueberry bushes. They have hydrangeas that are gorgeous.
