Sunshine Swim & Fitness Center propose des cours de natation professionnels et des programmes de remise en forme pour tous les âges, des débutants aux nageurs compétitifs. I took my very sensitive 6 year old daughter with a very prounced fear of pool drains (I know, strange, but it's a real phobia we've been struggling with) because (1) I would like her to learn to swim properly and (2) though I knew she would struggle, I feel it is important to push kids out of their comfort zone. I figure we would try for a month, and if she hates it, we stop. Her teacher, Xavier, has been amazing. He is patient. He know how to be persistent, but not forcing. He read her really well and knew when he could push a little further, and when to simply let her be. I made it clear to him I did not blame him for when she refused to do something, and pulled her out of lessons early a couple of times when she clearly shut down, but she is making progress every single lesson. She is on month two of her swim lessons, and already signed up for the next level and a 3rd month. Importantly, she WANTS to go. Very proud of my daughter for trying and being brave. Very pleased with the quality of instructors and small class sizes.
My daughter has been going here for about 7 months, she’s 3 and can swim independently. Ms.Jayla has made our experience here AMAZING! She creates achievable challenges, brings so much kindness and communication to the lessons every day!!
I signed up my child for swim lessons here in June and was very satisfied with the progress made. We only signed up for one round of group classes- 8 classes for a month, as we have a busy summer. But even in that timeframe, I saw a lot of growth in my son's abilities. We recently went to swim as a family for fun , but he was interested in practicing what he has learned and had the confidence to jump off the diving board - huge step for him! I'm excited to see they offer year round classes, I plan on signing him up again in the winter to keep up the skills during off season. The staff are friendly and great, Thank you sunshine
Took my 2 kids here when they were 4 and 6. After 4 months of private lessons now they can join the swim team and continue to practice every Mon to Thurs. They have great program and best of all now I don't have to worry when my kids around water. Ask for Branson and Sara as your primary instructors, thanks me later
After trying swim lessons elsewhere and seeing poor instruction and little progress, I was so glad to find this place for my daughters. Their swimming progressed quickly and consistently here, and all of the instructors they've had have been awesome. The administrative staff have also all been very helpful, easy to reach and accommodating. I highly recommend this swim center if you're looking for swim lessons for your kids. My older daughter is now excited about joining their swim team. Go Gators!
