The Sunset River Cruise was an excellent experience during my first visit to the Gold Coast. Friendly, welcoming crew. So relaxing. Fantastic views, great local knowledge/facts and hilarious jokes provided by Captain Pete.
5 stars! Was absolutely perfect. Very cheap alcohol, sno cones were perfect for the hot day. Great service and was able to chill on the boat for a bit before departure time. Learnt some great facts about the GC, even having come here for so long, even down to who owned the big houses and boats. We even saw many dolphins that the captain happily followed for us. Even had free cheese and crackers. Was an amazing experience would recommend to everyone.
Departed on time. Boat was clean. They provided sunscreen on the top deck for those that needed it. They provide general information about the area, houses and some commercial properties. I found it relaxing and interesting. They also sell drinks onboard. The Captain let my daughter drive the boat (it was a general invitation to any kids on the boat). The staff were very friendly. Thanks for the experience. Keep up the good work.
We have done this cruise twice now with family as they visit from the UK. Great value for money and the Captain knows his stuff and is well versed on the local area. Children love the cakes and biscuits which are included and having a turn at the wheel which appears to be a regular occurrence for all children on board. Top class and will definitely be back again.
