It took me months to walk in the door and was addicted within 10 minutes. All the instructors are fun, challenging and motivating. And the music is great. Is it sometimes hard? Absolutely. Do you get stronger in body, mind and soul? 100%! Sometimes you just have to punch it out! I look forward to every class. Woman owned business and very welcoming to all genders, ages and body types. Walk in the door, get your hands wrapped and let your inner bad ass out. I'm 51 years old and getting younger with every class! Thank you Swing State Boxing!
Swing State will kick your butt, and leave a big smile on your face. They have a wide variety of classes and teachers who are all great people that care about the gym and the clientele. I go to class around twice a week at lunch when I work from home and always leave feeling better about the world. Who knew punching a bag while rocking out to Juvenile’s Back Dat Ass Up could be so therapeutic. The gym is very welcoming to newcomers and has a wide variety of customers of different ages and fitness levels. It is not an intimidating environment and my wife and kids have taken classes with me and have had a great time. This is a very welcoming community and I have been meaning to write a review for a long time to show my appreciation.
Swing State has been a game changer and I can’t speak more highly of it. I started taking classes sporadically sometime last year, and the last couple months I’ve been going weekly and I must say it’s one of the things I look most forward to each week! I have never been to a group fitness class that is more fun, supportive, inclusive, and accommodating. All of coaches I’ve worked with have always been so helpful and are always ready to give mods if there are certain workouts that people can’t do due to injury or fitness level. Also vibes are just fun, lighthearted, and funny the whole time! If you are ever curious, just take the class you absolutely won’t regret it!!! Not to be a total cheeseball but taking classes at SS have made me feel so much stronger physically and mentally. They’ve also reminded me of my power and what a badass I am! This place rules 🥊 ❤️
I love this gym!! I joined to combine cardio with my weightlifting routine, and it’s been amazing! Not only have I seen improvements to my cardiovascular health after taking just a few classes, but I’ve actually easily maintained and even improved my strength in some areas. I like that there are different formats for classes, and the gym space is clean, organized and well equipped. A big bonus is AC and ceiling fans which have been great when we’ve had heat waves. But honestly the best part has been how friendly and fun the instructors and community are!! You feel very welcome no matter the level you are at, and the playlists during workouts are great! I’ve taken classes with Lindsey, Cam and Molly and I can’t recommend them enough 👏 and don’t be afraid to ask for modifications for exercised. They are knowledgeable and will quickly give you other options.
I never liked fitness classes—until Swing State Boxing. Boxing has totally changed how I work out and helps me shake off the daily stress of teaching. Lindsey and Molly are the absolute best—so fun, sweet, and supportive. I leave every class feeling stronger, calmer, and genuinely happy. Highly recommend if you want to work out and work through life!
