Alexandria did an amazing job with my makeup for a professional headshot. She understood makeup for the camera and chose colors that complemented my skin tone. The location is not well marked, but I'll be returning to her for more services in the future.
I feel like i left with 70% of the hair i came in with. I could just hear and feel my hair being ripped out the whole time and it didn't even look good after. It was a frizzy nightmare and I feel like I paid to have my hair damaged. Eye lash lift was good though
I went to Swink for my wedding hair and makeup and also did a trial 30+ days before with the same artists (which I would strongly recommend). Both my hair and makeup people did a great job in the trial, but I still used the opportunity to email Amy with suggestions for tweaks for my big day (which is encouraged). The coordination leading up was very well organized too and made for a non-stressful morning. For a fee, you may be able to have the salon open early, which I did. The results for my wedding day ended up being absolutely perfect and I could tell they listened and referred back to those tweaks I wanted after the trial. They nailed my natural/slightly shimmery makeup look and clean low bun and were on-time and the results were long lasting. I also bought the lipstick shade they used so I could do touch ups during the day. Overall, I had some hesitancies at first about off-site hair and makeup, but it worked out great and I would highly recommend it!
I found Swink looking for a hair and makeup artist for my holiday party. Since I booked late, I could only squeeze in makeup. Ja made me look phenomenal. Her personality was warm and inviting and she used her creativity while listening to what I wanted with feedback. We got done a bit early so I asked if we could squeeze in a dry style. Ja was more than happy to accommodate me and curled my hair to perfection. I would absolutely go back and use Swink again! Thank you, Ja for making me feel beautiful and confident for my company party!
Absolument merveilleux !! J'ai eu le privilège de me faire coiffer et maquiller par Tiara le mois dernier pour mon mariage. Ma mère a également fait sa coiffure et son maquillage (je n'arrive pas à me souvenir du nom de la jeune fille) et elle était magnifique ! J'étais tellement heureuse du résultat et je recommanderais vivement Swink !
