Sylvan has been great for both my kids! They're excited to show up for each lesson. I always receive constructive feedback from each instructor. I recently added as 2nd day because my kids enjoy Sylvan's style of learning.
Update in May 2025: We wanted to share that our son Zack has done amazing work in school since we moved to South Carolina! He has finished the 8th grade at Anderson Christian School, and he won multiple awards for his grade. He received the highest grade average in Algebra I for college prep, the highest grade in physical science college prep. He received the Principal's Honor Roll for All A's. He also received the South Carolina Independent School Association George Rice 8th grade Scholar award for having a GPA in all classes above 90% and also achieving a high score on the PSAT. He also received the President's Award for Educational Achievement for Outstanding Academic Excellence. THANK YOU, SYLVAN for your help!!!! You changed the trajectory of our son's life. We love and miss you. Bless you and the entire team. Thank you for helping our son in math! He has turned from a failing student (after online learning throughout COVID) to an all A's and B's student. We are so proud of him and very thankful to the faculty at Sylvan Learning of Scottsdale. You saved our son!
We can't say enough about our experience with Sylvan Learning in Scottsdale. Our 7th-grade son had been struggling with math, and it was affecting his confidence. After his initial assessment, Sylvan quickly identified the specific areas he needed to strengthen. They created a customized learning plan that was tailored just for him, and from the very first session, we saw a difference. Not only did his skills improve, but he actually started looking forward to his weekly sessions. Sylvan has taught him to persevere through challenging problems and approach his struggles with a positive mindset.
My son has shown significant improvement with the assistance of Sylvan. He had been struggling in math, but now he even says that math is becoming enjoyable!
Sylvan has been wonderful for our children. The learning center has been an enormous benefit in helping them to learn skills missed during Covid due to the closure of in person learning. The kids love attending, never push back on the studying, and are enthusiastic about being at Sylvan !
