I guess we've been taking our golden doodle Boomer to Taming Cerberus shortly after Mike opened. I noticed when we took Boomer to Centennial dog grooming (which had since closed) right behind Centennial Animal Clinic. Mike shared the building with the groomer but has since taken over the space. We didn't take him for training but to get used to other dogs and learn to interact with them. I was very impressed with the first time we took him. Mike didn't just throw him in the kennel with dogs his size. He took time with him, watched and assessed his reactions to different stimulus. They decided he was more comfortable with smaller dogs. The staff are remarkable and very knowledgeable . You can see they all love their jobs and make a point to remember each dogs name. I would recommend this place for training, daycare or boarding. Prices are very reasonable.
Our dog Shadow was extremely reactive and had been kicked out of several other daycares before coming for training at Taming Cerberus. Mike and staff were very patient with her in training and she is now able to play with other dogs. Very pleased and happy with her progress. The pricing is also extremely affordable and allows us to keep coming back. Thank you!
Mike and the whole Taming Cerberus team are amazing. We started with training sessions here, and, surprisingly, my super-anxious, reactive Mimi could even go to daycare once a week. The staff are so patient, and they accept and understand dogs' behaviours even when they are reactive. I was shocked and almost in tears when Mike carried Mimi. I know that Mimi won't change her personality, but I can see that she is more confident and comfortable with other people and dogs. Though she is still a bit anxious while we continue training, she walks straight into Taming Cerberus every time we go, and she looks happy and confident at the end. The price is affordable, and we are able to maintain consistent training, which is key to success.
We absolutely love this doggie daycare! Koda truly thrives here. When he first started, he was a bit timid, but thanks to the incredible care and patience from the staff, he has completely come out of his shell. Now he’s confident, happy, and always excited to go. He enjoys daycare every single time. The staff take such amazing care of him and treat him like their own. It’s so comforting knowing he’s in such good hands. He’s made so many fur friends and clearly feels safe, loved, and well looked after. A special shoutout to Mike, who is always super responsive and accommodating, it makes everything so easy and stress-free. You can truly tell how much everyone here cares about the dogs. We’re so grateful to have found a place where Koda is not just watched, but genuinely loved. Highly recommend!
Mike and the entire team at Taming Cerberus are absolutely amazing. Rosie received such incredible care while boarding — I had complete peace of mind knowing she was safe, happy, and well looked after. It’s clear how knowledgeable and genuinely caring Mike and his team are. Rosie came home relaxed and well cared for, which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Taming Cerberus to anyone looking for exceptional dog boarding. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her!
