Tazza Kitchen at the Village District is a go-to spot for our family whenever we’re in the area. I always order the sausage and hot honey pizza from the wood-fired grill — it’s consistently excellent and never disappoints. My wife loves their beets, and my daughter is all about the vibe and atmosphere, which are always relaxed and welcoming. The drinks are fantastic every time, and yes — they have the good ice, which somehow really does make a difference. Quality food, great bar program, and a place that feels easy to come back to again and again. Highly recommend.
My fiancé and I have been to Tazza many times and it is always a good restaurant to fall back on. The lighting and atmosphere was very pleasant with music and conversations to listen to in the background. We shared a pizza and made it as an appetizer and it wasn’t very good. Pizza was not warm and didn’t have really any flavor to it. However, the main course was delicious and very filling. I got the harissa bowl with chicken as the standard, and I have leftovers for the next day. I also got a mocktail that had just the right amount of tart and sweetness to it without it overbearing the whole drink. The service was excellent. Our waitress noticed that our table was wobbly and she ran right over to help us fix it as best as she could. Overall great place and good food, I just would not recommend their marg pizza. Their sanitation rating is 90.5 as of 12/6/25. That was a little un comforting to see walking out.
Let me start with how amazing the food was here! I ordered a Mediterranean salad with reasonable expectations and received something really excellent! The lentils were some of the best I've had and the haloumi was delicious! Ok, back to the start: we arrived to find that our reserved table for 5 was ready, with 2 large, glass bottles of water and 5 glasses of water prepared for us. We sat at the table and looked over the menu. It was difficult to focus with all the noise around us. The aesthetic is quite nice, but the materials do not absorb any sound. Customer voices compete and it was difficult to hear the voice of our server. We had to ask her several times to repeat herself. Eventually, we all placed our orders. Looking around, I'd say most customers fall into the 30s-50s age range. Most were wearing business casual or dress clothes on this Saturday night. It was loud, and not because it was a particularly boisterous crowd. It wasn't a really long wait for the food and we were all delighted with our choices!
Brunch at Tazza Kitchen Village District was just okay. The Crab Cake Benedict had potential but the flavors were flat and the prosciutto didn’t work with the dish. The Chicken Burrito was lukewarm and dry, though the chipotle salsa was excellent with just the right heat and smokiness. Overall, a very average meal.
Came here on a whim and was blown away! Livvy was such a great server. She helped us pick out items from the menu after a long day on the road. Let me just say, the baked goat cheese is to die forrrrr. Seriously, I will be dreaming about that from now on. All the ingredients were fresh and you could really tell the quality. The ambiance was great. Nice low lighting for the evening and the tables were spaced out so even the large party next to us wasn’t too loud. Our server, Livvy, was quick, but didn’t rush us and gave us plenty of time between courses. Parking was easy because it’s in a shopping center and there are loads of tables inside along with a bar to sit at so you can have your preference. I wish there was one closer so I could go more often but this was such a treat, such a good time, and such great food too. 10/10 ⭐️
