Thanks to the team at Tech-nic. I needed two e-bike batteries fixed for my dad and not only was the turn around on the repairs quicker than I expected, but the price was cheaper as well. All this with the run up to the Xmas period. Amazing customer service - great communication and a friendly team. 100% recommend this place.

Fixed my Gtech bike battery by conditioning the cells and donating the base from a failed battery of the same type and combining the parts into one good battery. Price was around £100, a new battery would have cost way more! Very competent people, thank you!

I brought my laptop in for a thermal paste replacement and fan cleaning. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain both the necessary procedures and the work they completed. They finished the job quicker than I anticipated, everything for a decent price. I highly recommend their services!

Avoid this place at all costs. I took my laptop here for a battery replacement and repair, paying £200 for the service. While communication was clear, the overall experience was disappointing. A diagnostic fee of £35 per hour plus VAT was charged, even before any actual repairs were undertaken. Despite already knowing the issue, I proceeded with the service. I was advised that the laptop required a new motherboard in addition to the battery replacement, which would cost £200. When I received my laptop back, there were visible issues with the repair. The bottom cover had a noticeable gap, and some screws were overtightened, leading to cracks inside the casing. When I raised concerns, the explanations I received attributed the damage to the courier or the existing cosmetic condition of the laptop. Unfortunately, there was no clear acknowledgment of responsibility from the service provider. Additionally, the replacement battery did not perform as expected. Despite being advised it was an original HP battery, its lifespan was unusually short, lasting only around an hour and ten minutes. A proper quality check should have been done to ensure it functioned as intended. The technician offered to take the laptop back for further repairs, but based on my experience, I declined. For anyone considering this service, I recommend exploring other options to ensure quality workmanship and reliable parts Terrible mistake going to them. Save £ and headache and look elsewhere. Don't be fooled by all the glowing reviews.
