I had such a great experience at Ted D Bare! It was way less painful than any other waxing place I’ve been to in San Jose. The space is super clean and well-sanitized, and I love that it’s a no tipping policy! Pai is amazing! she made me feel so comfortable the entire time, talking to me and keeping me relaxed through the process. Thank you 💗
Ted D Bare the hair anarchists! I’ve been going to Ted D Bare since the first location with Jane. She cracked me up so much it was like standup comedy with a side of hair removal. I love their chill vibe and fun décor, which is kept meticulously clean. I’ve moved over the hill and still come back for service. Their online booking and paying platform make it super easy. Love their no tip policy, saves me a lot of money and spares me from the world’s most awkward strip show. Pai is now my go to girl and always makes me feel at ease. I actually look forward to my appointment and the chance to catch up. If you’re looking for the best, fastest no-nonsense wax, book today! You won’t regret it!

I have been coming to Ted D Bare for years, first discovered when I lived much closer but now I still make the drive whenever I need a wax! Even if I don't come super regularly their "esthie besties" are so great and make you feel like a regular anyway! I've seen several of their esthies over the years and they're all friendly, efficient, and keep it chill even if it's an "awkward" service. The location is in an unassuming small medical plaza, but as soon as you enter you already feel taken care of! Their space is awesomely styled and you can tell they all care and love their job. Something underrated to note is their policy (published on website and all) has always been to NOT accept tips, and pricing is very transparent while booking on the website! This is huge when it comes to comparing prices between providers because 15-20% tips do add up on these services you might do several times a year. The booking process itself is also very easy, with cards saved to your profile so it's easy to pay your deposits when rebooking or even pre-pay the whole appointment. They also have aftercare products but do not push sales on you in any way. 10/10 recommend!
I’ve been going to Ted D Bare for the past couple of years and usually see Mia. She’s professional, friendly and efficient! The studio is always clean and I’m in and out quick. The scheduling tool is easy to navigate and you can prepay ahead, they even have a no tip policy! Even after moving out of Santa Clara, I still will make the drive out here for the great service!
