If you like hair in your food and poor customer service, then come here. When we walked in we were not greeted. When the host finally came over she didn't say hi nor did she make eye contact with us. She simply said, "how many?" We were then seated. We all said thank you and she just walked away. Our server was okay.. Our family ordered individual meals, but shared amoungst the table. I went to try my sons French toast and found a long blondish orange hair on it. We let the server know and she gave us the blankest stare... She then responded and said "OK, what would you like me to do for you?" She offered to refire the meal, but we said no, as the experience was disappointing and we wanted to leave. The food was actually really good and came out fast. It was going to be the saving grace for this experience, but the hair definitely ruined it. We would also like to note they crammed as many tables and chairs into a tiny space and the folks behind us were so close (not by choice) that we couldn't even get in and out comfortably. We had been waiting to try this place since we moved here, but we will definitely not be back.
Overall? Underwhelming at best… Came in on Sunday right at Brunch rush (around 1030) waited for probably 15 mins to be added to the list. We were never greeted- never welcomed in- never asked if we had been in before or even introduced to our wait staff. It would do a world of good to greet customers upon entry and introduce the concept. After we made it to the table, we watched the waitstaff gossip between each other and the hostess literally drag her feet around the restaurant while one server ran around the place delivering food, chatting with customers, discussing the food and being very pleasant. I wish I could use names but no one had name tags or introduced themselves so I’m stuck with these horrible descriptions. We ordered a specialty cold brew that was briefly mentioned on the menu (not because anyone told us about the specials) and found it overly sweet and full of ice. For $6, it was maybe 3 ounces of coffee at best. We ended up asking for a plain cold brew to add to the cup and was charged for that as well, again mostly ice. I ordered a Dt Dr Pepper and found it disgusting, friendly word of advice to the owner: Invest in a water purification system. The soda tastes like chlorine. Yuck. The food arrived, well one plate arrived and about six mins later the other plate arrived. Wish they arrived together so we could eat at the same time. I ordered the Crispy Pork Tacos and hubby ordered the Pesto Breakfast Sandwich. My tacos were bland, greasy and hard to eat. Potatoes were also not good- flavorless and on the raw side. Hubby got the butt end of the sourdough and his potatoes were also bad. I wanted to like this place. It’s right up the street from the house, there were lots of people there and it has great reviews but it’s lacking. Tables were mostly out of any table sauces, staff was not friendly or welcoming, food underwhelming at best- I don’t think we’ll be back. Very sad. The only thing semi good about this place were to prices but even then- I think we’ll stick to our other favorites.
This cute brunch place left a warm feeling in my tummy, one of happiness, satisfaction, and the joys of a quaint life. The food was both visually and tastefully beautiful. The meal was enriched with delightful staff and quick service. My only downfalls were that my english muffin was difficult to slice, possibly from overcooking, and the Benedict dish does not include poached eggs, only fried ones, which was disappointing. The prickly pear lemonade was a sensation of sweet and uniqueness! If you are wanting a cute, comfortable, stop for a cozy brunch, definitely think about including this hidden gem.
Very beautiful restaurant! I feel like everything about this restaurant has so much thought and love put into it. The mural & decor is so cool! Cute neon sign & an assortment of colorful pans on the wall. The food is incredible. The breakfast potatoes are SEASONED. I was very happy to taste that! 😂 I had the bacon & pesto egg breakfast sandwich & it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Yummy flavor explosion! My hubby had the breakfast nachos (yes, BREAKFAST NACHOS!!!) and they were absolutely delicious too! We will definitely be back! Wishing you lots of success with the new location. *We’ve been in 3x now and the food never disappoints! We tried the fried ice cream feench toast today its SO GOOD 😋 and the biscuits and gravy! Yummy!
From the time I entered the restaurant I was very impressed. This restaurant has really been well thought out. The colorful design inside to the cheerful server Raven helping is with the menu. The inside is unique and vibrant in design. The menu cover a wide variety of unique dishes, but is not overwhelming. I ordered the country burrito with a cold brew. The food came out very quickly. The country burritos flavor transitions as I ate it was fantastic. I found myself craving every bite. I also ordered the Fried Ice-cream French Toast. This dish was so unique and mind blowing. First of all, its hard to find a good Fried Ice-cream and to add it as French toast breakfast is great for the soul. I love how big the portions are. This place will do well if advertised correctly. I will be a regular here and highly recommend.
