I’ve been meaning to leave a review for some time now. It is clear that the new owner has more experience running a pet shop because very quickly I have observed a noticeable improvement in operations from fair pricing, quality stock, happy animals, cleanliness, and customer service. This is my neighborhood pet shop and I am so grateful to new ownership for the revival of a shop that many of us rely on to take care of our furry family members. My family and I cannot wait to see how else the Animal Connection transforms over time. Thank you, and sorry for the late review!
We were looking for a hamster since June this year and saw that this store sources them from Furball critters! We finally picked up our hamster yesterday and he is so sweet and chill, it was obvious that he was handled well. The staff at this store are so nice, super patient, and very knowledge, they also let us hold all of them, highly recommend a visit to check out their other animals like reptiles and Guinea pigs too!
Really nice pet store! Bought a betta from them, seems very healthy and active. It's nice to see they keep them in bigger tanks than the tiny cup most places keep them in.
Friendly staff and great service for bird grooming services. We bring our green cheek conure here for grooming and occasionally for boarding. The rates are reasonable and we feel very comfortable leaving our feathered baby with their staff.
I will always be grateful to this store for treating me with so much compassion when I came in a little over five years ago. I found an injured and very sick kitten in my driveway. I needed a cage to keep her in because her pelvis was broken and she was not supposed to move around much. It was not clear if she would survive the upcoming weeks. I came to this store and explained the situation. It was an emotional situation and I was very fragile. The woman (owner?) found a perfect cage for her and sold it to me at a discount because I was rescuing the kitten, and was so encouraging and sweet to me at a very difficult time. She pulled through and is a happy and healthy 5 year old! She loves her cage to this day!
