My two daughters and I have been training at The Art for over 10 years. We enjoy all of the classes we have taken but most of all we appreciate the community that Master Jake and Ms. Natalia have fostered. Although it may be intimidating to new comers, all of the staff, assistants and students at The Art do what they can to make anyone feel welcome. Even if you are just looking for another way to move your body and learn some new skills while you are doing it, The Art is a fantastic place to check out. The atmosphere is low pressure and you will get out of it what you put into it but you can always be assured that you are welcome. Even if you are just looking or a new and fun birthday party idea for children or adults, check them out. It is a fun, easy and low risk opportunity to see what The Art is all about!
We have been at The Art for 7 years and we are so grateful that we found them. My kids have learned so much more than martial arts along the way - community, respect, self-control, care for others, leadership, and so much more. Jake and Natalia have created something truly special. I cannot recommend The Art enough.
The instructors at The Art MMA are truly amazing with students of all ages. Jake is warm, patient, and incredibly encouraging. You can tell he genuinely cares about each student’s growth. The Art is a small business run by a wonderful husband and wife team who pour their hearts into our community. They’ve created a welcoming, tight knit environment where kids support each other, parents feel included, and everyone grows together. Our son has gained so much confidence, respect, and self-worth since joining, and we’re deeply grateful for the positive impact Jake, Natalia, and the whole team have had.
Jake and Natalia are pillars in the community. This is a place where *all* can go to find a place to belong while learning valuable skills in MMA. My family has benefited so much - physically, emotionally, relationally- over the years. If you’re here searching for a place to learn MMA, you definitely want to check this place out.
Updated for new location. 225 East Roselawn Ave Malpewood. May 2019. My two kids have attended The Art for several years and they have gained self confidence, respect for others, self control, and even a Black Belt along the way.
