My partner and I recently had our joint 40th Birthday Party - 1980’s theme at The aVenue. When I made the initial enquiry through the website on a Saturday afternoon, I received a response from Laura (the owner) within an hour. We had a call and spoke about the type of event we wanted to have. From there we arranged a venue inspection the following week. From the second I walked into the venue and spoke with Laura I knew The aVenue was the perfect intimate setting for our event with 70 guests attending. Laura had great connections to amazing DJ’s and AV companies, which she arranged for our event and nothing was ever too much trouble. We decided to choose the Elite food package (5 hot, 5 cold and 3 substantial) as well as the cheese and charcuterie station. The food was excellent and was flowing for a few hours. We decided against the drinks package and went with a tab bar to allow our guest to choose what they wanted to drink. Laura designed a custom cocktail list for our event and everyone at the party loved it!! Laura kept us up to date throughout the night on of the dollar amount of the tab, which was great. The bar staff were extremely professional and friendly. The speed of their cocktail making skills was exceptional but what was even more impressive was that they tasted delicious! Finally, thank you Laura. You were extremely professional and your attention to detail made the planning process a breeze. Quote from many of our guests… Best party in the last decade… thank you for making our event exceed our expectations.
We recently held our combined Hens x Bucks here, Great Gatsby themed. A truly exceptional venue, exuding sophistication with 1920s speakeasy vibes. The service was impeccable and the event coordinator, Laura, is immensely attentive and accommodating. Look no further for an unforgettable night!
We recently had our engagement at The aVenue and it was absolutely phenomenal! A massive shoutout to the owner/event coordinator whose expertise, professionalism and attentiveness made the entire event a breeze. The staff went above and beyond, providing amazing service throughout. The food and drinks were not only fabulous but also garnered compliments all night. Our guests repeatedly mentioned it was an event like no other – truly unforgettable. This venue exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it for any special occasion.
I held my Bridal Shower at the aVenue and it was an absolute dream venue. The guests complimented the decor, size and vibe the entire time! Laura and the team were amazing and so accommodating to all my requests. The food and drinks were great as well, with the guests wanting to take some home because there was so much. I can't give higher praise. Thank you so much for making my day so much more special.
