Recently, we called Davey Tree to discuss the care of our large cedar and camphor trees. Alexis, an ISA Certified Arborist, came out to the property and really took the time to review these two trees and she came up with a deep watering and fertilization plan, along with trimming the camphor first. She recommended that we remove all of the rocks from the base of that tree and replace it with mulch to allow more water to reach the roots. We did that and it is beautiful. More importantly, the tree was beautifully trimmed. This tree supplies shade to the front of the house and it was important to get it right! The cedar work had been put off until it got colder, which was the best for that tree. Today, the cedar was trimmed and I told Alexis that it was the most beautiful work that was ever done on it. I’m very sensitive to these trees. I’ve had other experiences with other companies that left me in tears. Davey tree is simply the best. I really don’t need to get “three estimates” anymore. I do want to thank Alexis for her patience and for giving us the best advice in caring for these trees.
