I have been going to Bobby for the last several big tattoos I have gotten, and he has been amazing every time. Not only is his art top level, but he as a person is just an amazing guy. He is very easy to work with, and very professional. This is without a doubt the best shop I have ever gone to. Every artist is incredibly talented, and you can tell they are one big family. They go out of their way to make sure their clients feel comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend anyone looking for a tattoo to consider this shop and its artists. They truly are amazing in every way.
Five isn't enough stars. I wish I could give more. Everyone was so nice, cracking jokes and making you feel truly comfortable. They have snacks and water in the shop, which is so nice of them. The style of this place, whoever did it, give em a raise! I had the pleasure of having Ben (@minivantatz on insta) do my new one. They have guest artists come into the shop from out of town, so check their insta (@thedecoratedbody) for what artists will be in! They have a tooth gem shop stopping in this weekend, so go check this place out. Parking here can be tight on the street. Construction was going on around the area this week.
Absolute 10/10 all the way around. It was my first bigger piece and I was pretty nervous until I walked in the door. Everyone was super nice, and friendly. They were stocked on snacks and beverages for anyone to grab, and they even bought all the clients in the shop at the time including myself (it was my first time ever in the shop or meeting Bobby) all BBQ. I haven’t even talked about Bobby’s skills as an artist. I couldn’t be happier with the work I got done and am looking forward to hopefully getting more done by him. Had me laughing or talking the entire time to keep me distracted, and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. Now there’s a 50/50 the shop is full of lizard people but it is 1000% worth it to get a tattoo done here. Thank you so much to Bobby and the staff at The Decorated Body!
I cannot say enough good things about the artists at The Decorated Body. I had my forearm finished up by Hiren Patel who is so kind and talented. He created a piece for me that is something I look at every day with a big smile. I gave him a list of florals and other nature elements that I love and told him to work in whatever he felt most comfortable doing. To my surprise and pleasure, he incorporated all of it, including a little bee friend (whom I named Lil Sebastian. If you know, you know.) and it’s perfect. I am so enamored by my forearm now. What a strange and great thing to be able to say. Outside of Hiren, while I was there, I also met Bobby and Soapy who were lovely (and entertaining) and helped make the entire experience of being in the shop so nice. In terms of safety and health, it’s totally clean and sanitary. Everything is wiped down, fresh tools used every time, etc. all that good stuff. An added bonus: the air is fantastic which is a distinction I make because the plant scene they have going on is amazing. If any of the artists here catch your eye and have a style similar to an idea you have, book it as fast as you can. These beautiful humans are massively talented and excellent to work with. The tattoo you get and the experience you have with them will be something you will appreciate for your lifetime.
Hiren was very thorough and helpful when it came to balancing out this design against an existing piece on my other leg. He was soothing, professional, calm, and all the things you want in an artist tattooing you. I cannot recommend him highly enough, though all artists in the shop were very kind and had beautiful work and I’d use any of them in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some work from these fine human beings.
