Mel, Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and candles on our wedding day! We expected our bouquets and boutonnieres to be good, but when we walked down the aisle, we were absolutely floored. The floral arch at our ceremony was stunning and left us in awe. We deeply appreciate all the hard work and attention to detail you put into creating such a breathtaking display. The flowers didn't just wow us—they wowed our guests too! We received countless compliments at the reception on how beautiful and well-arranged the floral and decorations were. From the ceremony to the reception, the flowers and all the candles were a standout highlight of our big day. We can't thank you enough for the stunning arrangements. We felt super relaxed going into our wedding day knowing everything was taken care of by The Design Co team for set up and take down and kept everything organized throughout the day.
Sarah and Mel were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their attention to detail, eye for beauty and coordination skills are unequivocally the best. They went above and beyond in the planning of our wedding day, and on the day of - there is not a single thing they didn’t look after - from helping me last minute when my bridal hairdo became undone, calming a very nervous bride (me) with the help of Sarah’s very zen self and amazing yoga instructor skills, coordinating vendors, music, caterers - making sure we had time to ourselves to sit and enjoy - on top of just being SO friendly and so well liked by all our guests. They thought of every single aspect, and our wedding day was absolutely flawless. I cannot recommend them enough, they truly made our wedding day perfect - we could not have done this without them. Thank you Sarah and Mel, you are wedding planning experts (but also real life angels). 10/10 recommend
Our wedding day was by the far the most special day of our lives. Sarah and Melissa literally made our dreams come true. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen. It was truly a magical day. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. We planned a non traditional wedding, and every idea we brought forward was met with an action plan and excitement. They truly thought about everything and my mind was at ease through the entire planning process and day because I knew I was in great hands. Thank you Sarah, Melissa and Design Co. for everything.
Pour mon mariage, Erin Carmichael (co-propriétaire et fleuriste) nous a fourni des boutonnières qui sont mortes après une heure, nous ne pouvions même pas prendre de photos avec elles. C'est très décevant car elle nous a facturé 20 $ pour chaque boutonnière. Lorsque nous nous sommes plaints, Stacey (co-propriétaire) a dit : "flowers are living things and they die". Lorsque nous avons envoyé un e-mail à Erin quelque temps plus tard, elle a dit : "I am happy to refund you" et "I will send the refund later today". Mais après cela elle nous a ignorés et ne nous a jamais remboursés, malgré de multiples rappels. Mauvais service. Les bouquets sont également morts après quelques heures et avaient l'air trop tristes pour les photos. Quand on paie autant pour des fleurs (125-200 $ par bouquet), on veut pouvoir prendre des photos avec elles, mais nos photographes ont dit qu'ils avaient l'air trop fatigués. Et il n'était même pas chaud ce jour-là. Un autre problème que nous avons eu avec le fleuriste est l'arrière-plan derrière notre table des mariés. Nous avons demandé 2 arbres en fleurs de cerisier et un lustre. Elle nous a facturés $850 et le résultat était complètement différent de ce dont nous avions discuté. $850 pour quelques brindilles artificielles attachées à un tuyau en cuivre, et un lustre tordu qui n'était même pas allumé. Encore une fois, très décevant. Lorsque nous nous sommes plaints, elle a dit : "I am very confused as to why you were unhappy with your head table backdrop" et puis : "I stand behind what we provided". La conception florale est bien trop chère et les fleurs ne durent pas. Quand vous vous plaignez, ils deviennent défensifs et vous en veulent. Leur liberté créative est plus importante que ce que la mariée et le marié demandent. La conception des bouquets et les centres de table étaient jolis.
