Let me start by saying, they do great work. I have not a single bad thing to say about their quality of work. Also they are very reasonably priced for what the services they provided. Heres why it's not a 5 star review, it took 5 months to get my bike repaired. Part of that was getting things shipped from overseas and trying to get a hold of the bike manufacturer. When I dropped the bike off (mid July) they said it would take 2 weeks before they could even look at it...reasonable given that it was summertime, but when I called 5-6 weeks later they hadn't gotten to it yet. I called to check in about once a month and they did call me a couple times, but they would give me a timeline on something and every time it was off by a couple weeks with no update. I would use their services again, but communication could be improved. They're extremely busy for a reason, just be patient.
Came to this shop to change a tire on my ebike. Asked one of the gentlmen at the counter for a spare alan wrench so i could take off the rim. All was well until a different employee, an older white skinny gentlmen wearing glasses and a light brown jacket came over to “make sure i wasnt stealing”, clearly being rude to me for no reason. Mind you im taking the rim off a $5000 bike and have just went in and spoke to an employee inside. Regardless of this ridiculous person i still decided to do busines with them, the gentlmen who was rude ended up being the person filling out my forum for the tire change. We finish filling everything out and after a while of getting things ready i hand him my bike and keys and ask what time today should i come back today and thats when he decides to tell me it will be a week until i get it back. What kind of employee doesnt make that fact clear in the first place. Also the way he stated it was very quick and under his breath as he takes my bike behind a rope clearly indicating he understood he just put me through an entire order process to waste my time. The other gentlmen there were actually extrmely friendly and one of them ended up selling me their tire irons so i could change my own tire and make it to a trip i had planned the next day. To the gentlmen that gave me those tire irons, Merry Chistmas and God bless you. Theres a thousand other shops that can do what this place does, there operation is overflowed, not putting the business itself down in anyway but that was my experience.
I had a guy (not at this shop) tighten my bike chain a few weeks ago. Since then, my bike started making squeaky noises.i went a bike shop on 12th, but they did not repair ebike and recommended this shop. The guy here fixed it quickly for free. Very cool guy. To show appreation, I paid him $10.
We took our grandson’s e-scooter to The Electric Bike Shop to seat the back tire. We had a new tire on the e-scooter that was not properly seated. The Electric Bike Shop owner was upfront about the time as they are a very busy shop. So we clearly understood how long it would take before work started and he also informed us of the actual time it would take once work began. I am impressed with this business as these guys know e-scooters. When work began Randall immediately called and told us that the reason why the previous folks could not “seat the bead” (I hope that’s the right wording) is because the tire was the wrong size. Randall gave me the right size to buy. After getting additional clarification from Randall. Major kudos to Randall. I purchased the tire and took it to the shop when we received it the next week on a Monday. They installed the tire on Tuesday and we picked it up on Wednesday. They also gave us valuable information about the tire and future tire replacement. I won’t mention the advice here, you’ll have to take your e-scooter to their shop and find out for yourself😊. But, I will tell you that this business is phenomenal! I highly recommend this business as they are ethical and have integrity. There was an issue that came up and it was quickly resolved. They have outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this business as they actually know e-scooters and have the proper tools to work on them. If you want the same day service that may be a problem depending on how busy they are and the fact that they are busy suggests that their customers know how good they are. Again kudos to Randall for a job well done.
I was having trouble with flat tires on my Hiboy Max Pro scooter so I bought solid tires on the internet to replace my pneumatic tires so I can get around town without having to worry about flats. They were able to put on my new tires no problem and did it in a reasonable amount of time for how busy they are. Took it out for a spin today and while it does feel a little bumpier I will take the trade-off of not having to worry about flats. The people that work there communicated well with me over the phone and while they are a very busy shop they were able to fix my scooter sooner than they had told me so that was a good surprise. I have been pleased with this electric bike/scooter shop and if I need anything electric scooter related I will most likely go here. Five star service.
