🦃 Our Delightful Thanksgiving Dinner at The Firehouse Restaurant! 🦃 My wife and I chose The Firehouse for our Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it was a truly wonderful experience! The restaurant itself is located in a lovely, historic building with truly elegant decorations that made the evening feel very special. The ambiance was perfect for a holiday meal. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, attentive, and warm. We were especially impressed that the owner, Mario, and his wife were present, actively welcoming guests and taking the time to socialize. It added a wonderful personal touch to the whole dining experience. The food was outstanding. I had the traditional turkey dinner, which was delicious, and my wife absolutely loved her halibut. Everything was prepared beautifully and tasted superb. If you are looking for a special occasion spot with great history, atmosphere, impeccable service, and fantastic food, we highly recommend The Firehouse Restaurant! Thank you for a memorable Thanksgiving!
Upscale restaurant with excellent service and atmosphere. Loved the appetizers and dessert the most. The souffle was the absolute best. People dress up but I saw some in semi regular clothes so no worries as long as you're not scuffed up, I reckon. This IS the kind of place where they put the napkin in your lap for you.
Fantastic time celebrating our anniversary here. All staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive to my dietary restrictions. Food was great, and we went overboard on the amazing desserts! Will definitely be back for another special occasion. It feels like Italian time here… some length between courses so just be patient and enjoy your company and the meal as it arrives.
Absolutely wonderful, entire experience was amazing! Food was remarkable and the service was excellent. Very attentive, welcoming and informative about the menu with great suggestions. Food was rich in flavor and paired wonderfully with all the bold flavors. The atmosphere was very relaxing and calming a perfect place to enjoy great company and an excellent meal.
I love photographing weddings at Firehouse in Old Sacramento! The moment you step into that romantic private courtyard, you just know it’s going to be a magical night. It gives so much privacy and can make even a larger event feel intimate. The historic charm of the venue gives every photo so much character, and being just steps away from so many gorgeous spots in Old Sacramento makes getting beautiful shots a total breeze. And can we talk about the food? Seriously, it’s amazing...guests (and photographers!) are always raving. The Firehouse team is fantastic, making the day feel effortless, fun, and full of love. If you want a wedding that’s beautiful, delicious, and full of memories, this place is an absolute dream.
