First time golfer and first lesson with Kevin and it went great. When trying to figure out which place I should take lessons at this was without a doubt the place for me. They were so patient, didnt try to up sell anything and let the conversation develop naturally. I am very anxious and felt very comfortable walking in and asking all the questions. I actually called a month before starting and they walked me though everything then as well. So excited to continue coming here and learning from this place.
Great facility, seems to be well maintained. Arrived when they opened at 8am on a Sunday and there were already about 10 cars in the parking lot. It wasn’t an issue finding a spot on the range, but it filled up quickly. By 9am there were only a few spots left. The man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! There is a mini golf course and gym equipment, although we didn’t use either. Very nice facility overall!
I struggled for three years — mainly chunking the ball. It got to bad that I would refer to my irons as shovels because of all the earth I uprooted. Anyway, I went to four different coaches, spent over 500 hours practicing, hit tens of thousands of range balls, and naturally fell into the YouTube trap. After believing I was ‘fixed’, I would go out and shoot a 120. I genuinely began to wonder if golf just wasn’t for me. Along came Suti. The way Suti talks and encourages made me believe I could walk on water. He speaks with such confidence in you, it’s contagious. Suti changed my (golf) life. I’m an overthinker — tracking every tweak/swing thought and overanalyzing every result. But with Suti, I didn’t need to write anything down. That’s how clearly and effectively he communicated. He puts himself in your shoes and replicates your feel. After a few lessons, he instilled a framework and a gave me a deeper understanding of my swing. Remember, no two swings are the same. We all have different body proportions, mobility, and tendencies. I was tried waiting for the day it would ‘click’. Save yourself the time and frustration. Take lessons with Suti. I started coming here after a getting a recommendation (at a different facility) for junior lessons for my daughters. I was so impressed with Coach Suti's patience and positive attitude working with them that I decided to take lessons from him too! Over the last few years this has been my second home. The staff of teaching pros are great. You see the same faces in the shop all the time (Hey Tom!) which speaks to the type of management they have that they can keep good people. They do a great job keeping up the range, you can hit off grass everyday but Tuesdays (they just got new mats that are quite an upgrade). Their short game area is great and the putting surface is good too. Get an eagle pass, it will save you some money and get unlimited short game access. Thanks y'all! See you tomorrow!!
MINI GOLF REVIEW: If I could give 3 1/2 stars I would. It's $12 a person so not a bad price. The course is tough, with a few of the holes being a lot longer than your typical mini golf hole. There were a few holes that had different patches of carpet/turf, and some spots where the turf was rippled and caused your ball to go different directions. One hole had an entire section with just concrete. In contrast, a few holes were in perfect condition. So a bit of a mixed bag in terms of conditions. All in all, a decent value for mini golf.
