Some beautiful pieces unfortunately a bit of sticker shock. I would not expect pieces to be over 50 much less over 100-200 dollars for some things. Yes they're nice but they're old, worn and secondhand. Clip on earrings for 50 or 60 dollars.... I would have left with a tote full of things if the prices were better 💔
Was looking for some vintage jewelry and was in the area. The person inside had the store closed and was on the phone ignoring me standing at the door. I motioned her to come over and asked when she'd be open, she said come back in 15. Okay, visited other stores, came back in 20. She's still on the phone, ignoring the other 4 people aside as well as myself. Oh, and it's slightly raining. You can see her sitting down talking on the phone in the picture. I relayed her message to the others and left. What a huge letdown. Edited after owner's response furthering the display of bad customer service (she left a much 'nastier' one on my Instagram comment). Not being able to dispute or deny any of my experience, she writes some absurd line about how this reveals 'more about me'. Okay, you got me, I visit vintage stores??? I left an honest reviews based on my experience?? I don't like standing in the rain while the owner is sitting comfortably in her store watching us from the outside like we're supposed to know who she's talking to and about what?! Maybe you could've actually SAID SOMETHING? Maybe your reply shouldn't have been so defensive when it was a truthful account of events? Further letdown.
Absolutely love, love, love this place! So many hidden treasures everywhere. All the pieces are unique. From the clothes, to the jewelry, to the bags! Mayra, the owner is an absolute gem! Super sweet and has GREAT taste. If you’re ever looking for something unique and just want stand out from the crowd, come check her place out. You will not be disappointed!!! 💛
Beautifully curated vintage boutique!! All items are sourced from all over and span over eras from the 1920s- present day. Lots of unique pieces you really can’t find anywhere else. The owner Mayra is the most lovely soul with a style to perfectly match. A shop we desperately needed for Miami’s vintage loverss, thank you
The House of Findings, a jewel-box treasure located inside the Miami’s Upper Buena Vista shopping area, has been an amazing addition to Miami’s vintage scene. From the artfully crafted window displays to the beautifully curated clothing and accessories, every square inch of the shop is stunning. I know I will always find something unique at reasonable price, and have great fun doing so. Owner Myra Gonzalez was a luminary of the South Beach renaissance of the late 80s and 90s, and was and is a huge style inspiration to me. She and her awesome associate Krissie will offer you great suggestions if you tell them what you are looking for. I have turned on a number of friends to the House of Findings and they thank me for it often. I highly recommend a visit – during this time you can schedule a private appointment for a safer shopping experience.
