There are not enough words in the world to express how phenomenal the Jaxson and the staff really are. It was truly such an amazing night, and the venue looked absolutely spectacular! We have received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue is, and it’s all thanks to you! Your staff was absolutely amazing as well! I had people telling me how kind your staff was, from the bartenders, to the chefs at the different food stations. Terry and Lane, your venue is, in my eyes, the absolute best. I couldn’t have had a better venue. The care you put into the venue and your clients, truly shows. Anthony, you are absolutely amazing and made the entire experience so stress free, and I’m very grateful for you. To Tony, our attendant, you were so fabulous and attentive, it was so admirable. He was so very helpful all night. Guests have not stopped talking about our venue and the food! If you want a true New Orleans wedding, the Jaxson is the way to go!
Our daughter had her wedding reception at The Jaxson in October, 2025. We visited many venues before deciding on selecting The Jaxson and, by far, it was the best venue when considering what was included in the cost. We received so many compliments from our guests on the quality of the food and atmosphere of the venue. The food was delicious! The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We thank Lane, Terry and Anthony for helping us put together an absolutely spectacular wedding reception for our daughter. Everything was perfect.

Anthony, our incredible coordinator, turned our ideas into reality with flawless precision, calm reassurance, and genuine care. Wilton and Dana, the masterminds behind the bar, kept spirits high with perfectly mixed drinks and warm, welcoming smiles. Ms. Deana’s heartfelt blessing moved us with her warm smile. And Lonni, our bridal attendant, was an absolute angel — patient, attentive, and there for our every need before we even had to ask she is truly a rare treasure. If you want a wedding where every detail feels intentional and every moment feels like a dream, The Jaxson on the River is the place. They didn’t just host our wedding — they made it unforgettable.
The Jaxson is one of our favorite modern venues in New Orleans. The views of the Mississippi River are unreal—especially at sunset—and the indoor space is sleek but still warm and inviting. We’ve photographed weddings here with everything from 30 guests to full dance floor blowouts, and it always feels dialed in. Their team knows how to keep things flowing, which takes so much stress off couples. The ceremony setup near the windows with the river behind you? Stunning. And when the party gets going, that open space with uplighting just looks incredible in photos.
We recently held our daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception at The Jaxson. I cannot say enough about the impeccable customer service that we received. The personal attention to details and flexibility of scheduling made for a stress-free experience! Anthony and his staff were extremely attentive and organized, and it was an absolutely perfect night! Our guests are still saying that this is the best food that they’ve ever had at a wedding!! From our first walk-through to the last second of the reception, we were confident that everything was handled perfectly!
