I debated for a while before posting this, but I just have to be honest. While the staff here are very friendly, the place is clean, and the extras like the blackhead removal are nice, I had some issues. First, the Barber I booked with was not the one who gave me my haircut…in fact he never showed (a notice would have been nice). Two, And more importantly, a poor lineup (You can’t really recover from this). It was obvious this was likely my barber’s first time cutting black hair. this would’ve been OK, except what I would argue is the most important part of a haircut—the front lineup—was not straight. Mine curves up and was pushed about .5 inches high.
Been coming to Raimy for about 3-4 years now, he’s well versed and knowledgeable in many style cuts, whether I’ve wanted it short or long he delivers and the price is much cheaper than other shops.
I went there for the first time. I had Raimy cut my hair. I showed him one video of a cut I had before and he went to work. He offered a free black mask facial treatment, which I took. Then he proceeded to give me a great haircut. I speak a little Spanish and we had a great conversation. He had good attention to detail and made sure I was happy with everything before we were done. Nice people and great work.
I took both my sons today to get a haircut. Right when you walk in everyone is welcoming and friendly which is great to see. My older son got his haircut with Remy, he did a great job with his hair, he did exactly what he wanted and took his time cutting his hair. He was very kind and made sure my son came out with a really nice cut! He left before I can say thank you so I hope he sees this! Thank you! My younger son (6), Diego worked on him. Amazing! My son had so much hair and Diego took his time and made sure his cut came out great. I was surprised my son stayed still the whole time, but that just told me my son was comfortable getting his haircut from him. He was very careful when it came to lining him up. I loved the way his hair came out. Thank you! I added a photo, don’t mind his face, he stays mugging 🙃
