The Music Center à Los Angeles est un grand complexe d'arts du spectacle situé au 135 N Grand Ave, regroupant quatre lieux gérés par différentes institutions. Il accueille des pièces de théâtre, de l'opéra, du ballet et des concerts dans des espaces tels que l'Ahmanson Theatre, le Mark Taper Forum et le Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, tous dans un cadre somptueux. First time attending an event at this location. Pouring rain, got to admit parking was easy but cash only! Cash only who does that. Other than that we had a great time. The Ahmanson Theatre was beautiful, great venue for a play.
I had a subscription for the Mark Taper Forum when I was a USC student. No joke - five plays for $30. Amazing experience. Ahmanson is excellent for larger productions. Saw The Temptations musical biography there BEFORE it went to NYC. And the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is an ideal spot for opera, ballet, and musical theater on a somewhat smaller scale than
What a great place . Very ornate architecture with four venues with different institutions running them . I’ve seen play musical opera ballet and concerts . There’s box offices still available to purchase physical tickets here . Plenty of parking and information about the different events taking place here . Definitely a special place with great views of the skyline and city hall building .
Summer night fun with choreograph dance routines on a large dance floor. Great dj. So much fun. Cant wait till next year
Love going to the Music Center for their Multicultural Events. During the Summer is the Best time. I sometimes just come and walk around or come to read my book under a tree.
