Sharraine for the NOW 80 minute massage is amazing! Allows for a total disconnect from all the craziness of life. I do the monthly massage. Always so nice when I see the appointment on my calendar.
As one of the Lead therapists here and being with The Now Midtown for the past 3 1/2 years, I would like to state that I truly do not believe that the review about the staff and turnover is for our Midtown location. Our owners are both incredibly hands on and amazingly supportive to not only all employees but also, our guests! We have an overwhelming feeling of connection and family within our awesome front staff and all of the therapists. The daily vibe is one of kindness, support, encouragement, and teamwork, and nobody here would have it any other way!
Isaiah was friendly and provided a great massage. The customer service was great as well, as I had an appointment Tuesday but something happened with the massage therapist resulting in my massage being cancelled. I was able to rebook for Thursday and they covered the cost of my massage for me. They didn’t have to do that, I understand things happen but what a wow factor that was for me! It was my first time there and I definitely will be back. The space was clean, relaxing and calming. I enjoyed my time!
I have been going to The Now since 2022 (the Brier Creek location and this year the Midtown location) and I was super pleased to have one open in Raleigh. I have always had good experiences here, and I know for a fact the staff is treated well and paid fairly. I only every get massaged by women, and the women massage therapists are very professional and competent. I do agree with some other comments about the prices being high, but I love the spa atmosphere enough to pay them. Also love they have spa water and candles for sale. Helpful receptionists, clean bathrooms and plenty of easy parking.
My kids got me the 80 minute Stretch massage with the deep tissue add on here for my birthday. Upon entering, I immediately felt relaxed in the space. The staff were exceptionally friendly and thanked my for being there, as well as wished me happy birthday. I had a wonderful therapist, Andrew. He was very good with the pressure and the stretching, which is what I needed since I'm fairly athletic. The environment was nice and quiet, even though it's a larger room with different individual massage suites. Overall, this was a wonderful birthday treat and I plan to be back for my next massage!
