The Peddler Steak House is my kind of nostalgic steakhouse. Dark ambiance, old-school, straight out of the 1970s mob vibes (Godfather and Sopranos haha) with some nice jazz playing in the background. Prime rib was cooked perfectly, ribeye and salmon were excellent, and the salad bar was a nostalgic win. Not a crazy fancy schmancy kind of place—just great food and service. And if you like a little sauce with your steak, no judgment here. Loved it. I’ve been to Angus Barn and Perry’s and those are just for the ambiance and looks; this place is for the actual food!! I was definitely sleeping on this place and will definitely make this my designated steakhouse spot.
We dined with friends last night. Awesome experience. We did have to wait a little bit for a table, but we were seated our waitress came right over took our drink orders returned took our orders sent us to the sensational salad bar, you will love the in house made croutons. Our food arrived deliciously amazing one of the best steaks ever, accompanied by a steaming hot baked potato smoothie and creamy. We all ordered dessert. I cannot say enough about the decadent chocolate cake, and wonderful bread pudding. We loved everything about out meal and will definitely be back soon. Check them out you will be glad you did!!
I go here alot but I am terribly disappointed in tonight’s experience. I ordered a steak, well done but not burnt, just no pink. 46 minutes later it arrived as shown in the photo. Not well, no where near being burnt and RED!! It wasn’t even hot! I didn’t send it back because I didn’t want to wait another 46 minutes. Two more tables around me also sent their steak back for being undercooked. I only recognized one server and no one at the front were the usual people. Even the peddler was different - rushed, didnt cut the steaks at the table. I spoke with the manager who apologized but said well done steaks cant be guaranteed. I said I understood that but this steak is far from well and had not on the grill for 46 minutes. I wonder if management has changed or something. This was the quality or experience people are used to and definitely not worth the cost.
The Peddler has that old school steakhouse vibe. It was our first visit, so we requested that the Peddler come table-side and cut our meat. He offered different amounts of marbling. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were good, and the salad bar was a throwback to the 80s when I went to the Sizzler. The grilled bread had that charcoal flavor. Cocktails were perfectly strong and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was dark, but what I wanted in an old school joint. I wish there had been some throwback jazz playing. The service was phenomenal. The only thing I’d complain about is that you cannot reserve tables for parties under 8, so get there at least 30 minutes before opening if you want to get seated right away. The food is great and the experience is fun, so play your Old School Steakhouse playlist and get in line! You’ll thank me later.
Ordered 12 oz Ribeye with baked sweet potatoes. Was awesome went there the next day to have it again. Open salad bar. Can request for your steak to be cut in front of you so you can see the marbling. Atmosphere was dark and quiet overall good pick for a date night or just to relax by yourself
