I had Karam host a special event for me and a group of friends. And I must say it was better than I had expected. He quoted me a price and delivered beyond my expectations! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and Karam is a nice guy. I will definitely use him in the future.
We held my wife's 50th here with around 45 people, and it was a great time! The decorations, food, cake and more were just incredible! Thank you so much for an amazing venue, atmosphere and for making our party memorable.
What a wonderful venue and host! We had a 70th birthday celebration for my husband this last weekend, and Karam ensured that everything went off without a hiccup. Our 50 guests were quite complimentary of the space, which held that number of people very comfortably. The space was light and airy, with amazing views and outside area. The pricing was very reasonable, and the guests also remarked on how good the food was. Karam made everyone feel welcome and was very communicative and flexible to work with. I would happily hold future gatherings here anytime!
There are not even enough words to describe the most wonderful experience we had from start to finish with Karam and his team! He was so patient with all of our questions, there was constant and clear communication, and the perfect blend of feeling like we had the most professional team on our side and also like we were working alongside friends! We rented the Penthouse suite and ended up having a gorgeous sunny early evening event that lasted until late in the night! We got spectacular views of downtown Portland with the sunset behind it, we got to watch the crows fly by, which was loved by all the guests, and we got to see all the city lights come on as we celebrated into the evening! The lighting through the space through golden hours was gorgeous! They allowed us to keep the doors between the spaces open, keeping it airy and Covid conscious! This venue felt so special, and worth every dang penny!! We decided upon having the full bar set up, and did a blend of drink tickets and cash bar, which was seamless and they let us know when we had met half of our intended budget! We decided to do the higher end of the charcuterie spread, and it was literal artwork! We paid to have the pastry chef come and set up the board, and again, was worth every penny! Every guest sent us a photo and commented on how incredibly beautiful the spread was and equally as delicious! We brought decorations and a homemade cake, and had some extra set up and break down time that got built in which was helpful! They helped to move furniture around and added some high tops, it was so beautiful outside, a lot of people stayed out on the balcony! We had about 60 throughout the night and never felt crowded at all! It felt like a gem to find this place, and we are so thankful to have had such a fantastic experience to ring in a milestone birthday! It was so fun to all get fancy for a night in the city we all love! Cheers Karam, you’ve got a really good thing going!! We enjoyed our experience very much!!!
I can't even start to describe with how awesome Karam and Elise are and how beautiful their penthouse is. Karam from Day 1 went above and beyond to help me pull off the best surprise proposal for my now fiancée. Karam was very accomodating and allowed us to rearrange his living room to make this work. Elise brought falafel wraps that were so good, and she even helped out with the surprise as well! It was a really special moment that we are so blessed to share with them, and would highly recommend anyone thinking of reserving an upscale place with amazing views of the Portland Skyline - their Penthouse is the one and these are your people.
