I’ve been to this place a few times I just can’t remember if I’ve left a review. This time I tried a Philly cheesesteak and created my own milkshake mix of Oreo and Reese’s. The menu has lot of things to try. I’ve had burgers here that are pretty good. I have to say tho I was pretty amazed how good the cheesesteak was. It came out extremely hot and was super flavorful. I’m no cheesesteak connoisseur but I’ve had a few in my life and this was the best I’ve had in town. The fries are good here too. I have to say that I’ve tried a lot of milkshakes in town and this place has to be in my top places to have a shake. Whatever flavor bits they add are a good size and you can taste them. It’s not too runny either like a lot of other places are. I highly recommend you try this place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You won’t be disappointed!
The food is not cheap but it is worth it. I am a tight wad and I have no problem paying $40 for my wife and I to eat lunch. I had a 1/2 pound backyard burger with cream cheese and grilled jalapeños, tater tots and a big ole icy mug of Dos Equis dressed. She had a chili dog with fries and a Pepsi. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Tons of tvs so you can watch whatever games are on, the atmosphere is awesome. The food is always on spot and while the cost is a little high it is so worth it in my opinion. This location is on the corner of Perrin Beitel and Perrin Naco. Go give it a try. You won't regret it.
Stopped here last week. Over all we enjoyed it! Burger come with a side which is nice! We ordered 2 mushrooms burgers. One with tots and one with corn in a cup. The burgers are pretty big! The tots were good and crispy too! The only thing was the corn I. The cup was not good. The corn was kind of cold. Way too much parm and not enough corn. Just tasted like a big mush. Disappointing. We also ordered a funnel cake. It’s different than the carnival ones. This tasted more like a big plate of churros! It’s awesome we get to put 3 toppings! They are not skimpy on the serving either! Don’t expect it to be light and fluffy though! Overall it was great. The place was pretty clean. It’s a small cozy place and look forward to coming back. Hoping the corn in the cup gets better :)
Me and my husband are quite loyal to our favorite burger joint but when they were out, we decided to try something new. This place is highly rated and the burgers looked good so we decided to try it. We went at 7 PM. It was a little busy but nothing crazy there was still plenty of open tables. We both got a bacon cheeseburger and we told that mustard, mayo and ketchup come on the burgers I got onion rings and my husband got french fries. We waited 30 minutes for our burgers which was way longer than either of us had expected. I went up to the counter to make sure they did not already call my name because that is just how long it took to get our burgers we couldn’t believe how backed up they were with it not being that busy hence why I took the photo of the line and people in the restaurant. The burger was OK. The bun was nothing to write home about it barely had any mayo on it and it had no mustard no ketchup. The onion rings were lukewarm. I would’ve liked them a little hotter and they tasted good at first but the more I ate them the more they tasted like grease. The french fries were good. They have a dog friendly patio, which is nice and it looks like they have really neat drinks like strawberry and cream and mango bananas and desserts and stuff, but I didn’t partake in that. I don’t think I’d be back to this establishment it’s further away more expensive and the service was not great compared to the place. I normally go to.
One of the top two burgers I've had in San Antonio and the top five in my lifetime. The flavor and texture of the plain patty with the buttered, toasted bun are worth it alone. But if you like more pizzazz on your burger, the numerous topping options keep the experience fresh, visit after visit. We haven't tried the hot dogs, and we didn't like the chili (which tasted like eating straight chili powder), but we'll certainly be back again. Our only criticisms are relatively minor in that it took almost 15 minutes to get our burgers (as the second in line to order), and everything seemed to have mayonnaise, of which we're not fans.
