Ruined Birthday Brunch I came to Toledo Spirit on Sunday for their boozy brunch and bingo to celebrate my birthday. We had reservations for 11:30 and were seated promptly, but after 30 minutes without anyone taking our drink order, my father went to the host stand. We were told the waitress didn’t realize we were her table. We placed our food and drink orders then—most of us ordered mimosas. Another 30 minutes passed with no drinks and no sign of our waitress. My father approached the bar to inquire, and we were told they were out of prosecco and didn’t know when more would arrive. What made this even more frustrating was that other tables around us were already enjoying their second and third rounds of drinks, including mimosas. For my first visit, I was genuinely excited about brunch, bingo, and spending time with my family. Instead, the lack of service, communication, and consistency soured the entire experience. I left disappointed and won’t be returning. I wouldn’t recommend Toledo Spirit to anyone looking for a reliable or celebratory brunch spot.
The drinks were ok but a heavy pour. The food was ok as well.

Downstairs, The "Heavy Beer Bar" exudes a trendy dive bar vibe. With a limited but thoughtfully curated selection of craft beers on tap and an inviting atmosphere featuring a table, a small bar, and a dedicated pinball corner, it's a haven for beer enthusiasts. Upstairs, The main lounge area is where Toledo Spirits truly shines. Rich wood accents, warm ambient lighting, and splashes of vibrant color create an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. Seating options abound, ranging from comfortable lounge sofas to stylish high-top tables and a well-appointed bar. We opted for a corner table near the large windows, and the evening view of the illuminated river was simply breathtaking. While we focused on cocktails during our visit, past experiences have consistently highlighted the quality of their food menu. We highly recommend exploring their culinary offerings. The cocktail menu is a testament to creativity and craftsmanship. It features a captivating array of innovative concoctions with thoughtful liquor pairing suggestions, alongside a selection of classic cocktails, wines, beers, and even non-alcoholic options. My house red wine (Cabernet) was exceptionally smooth, and the other cocktails we sampled were visually stunning and incredibly flavorful. Our server, Ashley, was a true gem. Her bubbly personality, friendly demeanor, and expert guidance in navigating the drink menu made our experience truly enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a leisurely evening. Toledo Spirits offers more than just drinks. A well-stocked bottle shop showcases their own spirits, merchandise, and a curated selection of other beverages. We also observed a captivating mixology class in progress, adding an intriguing element to the overall experience. Overall Toledo Spirits is a unique and captivating destination. With its diverse offerings, from the lively "Heavy Beer Bar" to the elegant cocktail lounge, coupled with exceptional service and a captivating ambiance, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable experience in Toledo
We loved our first visit to Toledo Spirits. A cocktail class brought us in but the friendly service, awesome atmosphere and delicious drinks made it an easy choice to stay for a while. Hats off to the owners that designed this space. There are cozy seating nooks, table seating and bar seating. Prices are reasonable, drinks are unique and refreshing. They also offer a specialized menu offering a variety of vegan, vegetarian and regular dining options. Our party of 6 had a great experience and we look forward to coming back!
