Met with Mr. Thornton on April 8, 2025. We went over things I didn't even expect in regards to estate planning and it was an eye opener and very informative. I was told that Mr. Thorton does not work for himself, but he works for you and that is true!! He knows his field!! Thank you Mr. Thornton!
I’ve been following JT and Thornton Financial LLC for several years and have referred multiple family members to him during that time. Most recently, my mother was dealing with some issues related to her taxes, and I knew she needed a true professional. I had no hesitation recommending JT. She set an appointment, and I went with her for support. We met JT at his downtown office—he was taller than I expected! As an insurance agent myself, we ended up in a passionate debate about whole life insurance, and I’ll admit, he got the best of me with his perspective. It was all in good spirit and showed just how sharp and knowledgeable he is. JT was able to clearly break things down for my mom, resolve her tax concerns, and gave her a solid plan moving forward. I’ve been a longtime fan of his financial commentary on social media, but experiencing his professionalism and care in person—especially with my mom—meant everything. I highly recommend this brother. Thornton Financial LLC is the real deal.
Jayson is a class act. He is a master teacher. Any question you present, he will break it down to first principles. Also the team he has is very pleasant and kind. I had to call the front desk to get help with my setup and on both occasions the ladies were very helpful and patient. When I patronize a business I particularly pay close attention to the customer service that’s provided cause it’s a big deal for me. Jayson and his team do a great job.
I retired early last year from a profession that I worked nearly 30 years in. I came to St. Louis on a fixed income and some uncertainty in retirement. Jayson was not only responsive and prompt for our meeting, but very professional. Jayson’s knowledge of state and federal income tax put me at ease. He was expeditious in handling my taxes while I waited and filed them immediately. He provided me with a professional copy along with projections for future tax years. Additionally, he answered other tax questions which was extremely helpful. I can’t tell you how pleased I was to work a person who is so competent and efficient at their profession. I would highly recommend him for any of your tax needs. Jayson is definitely “good people” and I’ll be recommending him to any friends and family who are in need of tax help.
