Exceptional customer service! My 10 year old son recently attended a friend's birthday party at Timezone Charlestown NSW and while he was with supervising adults, it was his first time attending without me. I'd topped up his credit on the Timezone app, which he loves to use! He'd also been given a time credit at the party to spend, which he hadn't understood. It wasn't until sometime later that one of the adults accompanying my son realised that he'd been tapping his phone instead of using the party credit. When I later checked the activity in the app, I'd realised that he'd spent close to $100 credit very quickly. While I suspected that he may have spent it on the claw machines trying to win a toy, I visited Timezone Charlestown the next day to query the transactions. I spoke with Asmita who was kind, patient and understanding. Asmita confirmed that my son indeed had quickly spent his credit on the claw machines and showed me the transactions. While I accepted that the credit had been legitimately spent by my son and I would put it down as an expensive life lesson for my son and I to learn from and work on, I explained to Asmita that my son is neurodiverse and that he is still learning the value of money. My son LOVES Timezone and he absolutely loves tech and using the TZ app to tap and play, but this was his first outing to a Timezone without me supervising and limiting his gameplay on the claw machines. In response to this Asmita acknowledged the situation and in a gesture of goodwill, she looked up the two claw machines my son had been playing on and allowed me to pick a toy from each to take home to my son! Asmita even went the extra mile and offered for my son to return to the venue and swap the toys I'd selected if they weren't the particular toys my son had been so desperate to win. Asmita's kindness, generosity and exceptional customer service made my day...and my son's! I have already told a few people about my positive experience and all have commented that it is a perfect example of what great customer service is! Thank you, Asmita! Your kindness and understanding has made a difference and we will definitely be back!
Had a really great time with my girlfriend and her family, played some enjoyable games and got some cool prizes too. Thanks especially to Asmita as she was great help when some of the machines weren’t working as intended, which allowed us to get right back into the fun :) Overall great experience
