Have been coming here for over 6 years & wont take my boys anywhere else! They are a gem. Always quick and efficient. The few times there has been a small wait, it is always worth it in the end!
This is our 3rd time coming to this little kids haircut shop. It’s a little hole in the wall place. If you blink you’ll miss it lol. My kiddo hates getting haircuts but Marina seems to always keep him chill and happy and sits almost throughout the whole haircut. She’s really good with him and I’m definitely a happy customer. Definitely recommend her.
We are transplants here from Chicago, Illinois. My husband and son come to toon klips to get our haircuts twice a month. We love the great customer service from Walter every time we call to make an appointment. Marianne always cuts our hair and she does an excellent job very professional and very courteous.
I can honestly say I’ve never cried leaving a haircut place for my child until I went here .. I only tried this place out because I needed something close to home since I was getting a ride to this place and our original haircut place is across town. My son is 2 yrs old , fresh out the womb he had a full head of hair so seeing how much hair this lady cut off broke my heart! Before I took him in I got off to ask if any of the 2 ladies there were able to do the haircut I wanted (picture down below) , she pointed at a wall of pictures and said with attitude “uh yea” and giggled so I quickly looked and said okay let me go get him .. I should have known from the get go that it was a bad idea but I know with this Texas weather my baby was over having his hair all in his face . I took him in and sat him down and she said “ I wasn’t expecting him to be a baby “ I said he’s 2 he’ll be fine if he can watch Elmo and she said all she has is Netflix so I held my phone for him to watch and he was fine .. I tried showing her the picture again of what I wanted done before she started cutting more of his hair and she quickly cut me off and said she saw the first time so i nervously said okay .. I didn’t want to be rude since she’s in control of clippers that she could easily just run through his hair and do worse so I tried to have small talk and she ask if it was a zero that I wanted and I said I wasn’t sure cause I don’t know guy haircut numbers like that so AGAIN I tried showing her the picture and she said “well that’s what’s in the picture you wanted so do I do it or no” and I said if it’s in the picture than yes .. I instantly regretted it when she came around to my side and I saw how high up she went and that even with her “fixing” it to blend it out it was only going to be short and he was going to look balder !! I was trying to think positive that she’s ganna blend it out and it won’t look bad . When she finished she laughed and said “damn that’s a lot of hair” 🙃 If you love your baby’s hair and want a good job done DONT COME HERE !!! I should have known just by walking in and seeing how ghetto it looked and how rude she was from the beginning ..
I’ve been taking my kids to toonKlips for almost 11yrs, and We absolutely love this place! They have awesome professional kids & adults stylists that do an amazing jobs each & every time we go! Valerie is the best tho... she has even done my hair for Date nights💕You can’t beat the prices Anywhere. ToonKlips has always been good to us.😊
