I visited this location with my whole family who was visiting me for Christmas. They loved the layout and the pastries. I ordered their classic cloud cake, which was delicious. One precaution, however, is that the pastry here consistently causes me stomach issues. Otherwise, best bakery in town for sure. While local Memphians may think the service here is good but I know that it’s nothing special compared to the authentic stores in Korea. Also, when I told the server we were dining in, the server never asked to re-heat the pastries. When I asked the server about re-heating, she didn’t seem eager, and I sensed bit of “indulgence.” As I feared, the pastries were not warmed properly, and nobody likes to eat their sausage bread cold. It’s a shame that I couldn’t taste their pastries warmed properly in-house. Overall, pastries are the best in Memphis, but the service quality is predictably bad. Given the popularity of this shop, I predict more Korean bakery, especially Paris Baguette, will soon open up in Memphis as well. The servers at this location better improve their service before competitions arrive fiercely.
I’ve been waiting for them to open in Memphis! Used to frequent their locations in Chicago and Texas and always loved their desserts and macarons. The Guava Danish was something I tried for the first time and I was totally aww! Definitely don’t miss if you have a sweet tooth.
Community education is an important part of our trainers' jobs. Business are permitted to ask two questions when a service dog or service miniature horse come into their establishment: 1.) Is that a service animal required because of a disability? 2.) What tasks is the animal trained to perform to assist with handler's disability? • A local handler repeatedly had been illegally removed from TOUS les JOURS, Memphis. on multiple occasions. After many frustrated attempts, they reached out for help in educating the business. Upon entry, we were immediately asked to remove the dogs, the two legal questions not being asked. A concerned member of the public stepped in to explain to the employee that what she was doing was illegal and only then did she get a manager. After an education session with the manager, all five teams enjoyed lunch and a training session inside. If a service animal team has attempted to educate a business and the business continues to illegally deny the team, the incidents can be reported to The United States Department of Justice. Businesses not following the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) can face legal issues and fees.
I love that this style of coffee shops has been popping up around town. I'd seen this place online and read the reviews. A lot of them were complaining about the shelves being empty. I guess today was my lucky day! The ambiance was really nice. Everyone I encountered was really kind! There was also plenty from which to choose! I'll definitely be back!
First time going and it was outstanding! The pastries were delicious, so many to choose from too. A ton of fun drink options, and I also like how they had sandwiches ready to go. Tuna sand which was pretty good! Personal preference, I could have used a little more mayo and the bread was unique. Loved how my guava pastry wasn’t too sweet. I would like to see more bread varieties like sourdough or some French breads. More sandwich style breads. Overall, would come again! Service was quick and staff were friendly. Atmosphere, amazing.
